The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for the week August 18-22 reveals that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) will escape while Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) makes an ominous declaration. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will also play defense, so some excitement’s brewing on B&B.
For starters, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will leave Luna alone and come back to find she’s vanished!
Although Li’s been doing everything in her power to give Luna another chance at redemption, Luna’s already going off the rails and threatening to blow it.
Once Li realizes Luna has escaped, she’ll get Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown) on the phone and let her know they have a problem.
Sheila will presumably figure out that Luna must be at the Il Giardino bash and go looking for her.
In the meantime, Deacon will seem tickled pink over the private party that’s going down in his restaurant
As Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) arrive, Deacon will joke around about how what happens at Il Giardino stays there.
It’ll seem like an ominous way to set the stage for what’s coming up between Luna and Will.
Luna will have some wild getup on initially to keep her survival updates under wraps.
However, Luna will eventually don a mask that’ll make sneaking around this bash a bit easier.
It could also make it easier for Luna to dupe Will into thinking she’s Electra – especially if he’s inebriated or even drugged.
There’s a good chance Will’s going to let Luna lead him off for a quite moment.
That could also lead to Will hooking up with “Electra” thinking it’s their first time together – only to realize later that he’s actually been with Luna!
On another note, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will voice his appreciation to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) since she’s really stepped up for him lately.
Liam’s brain tumor crisis turned out to be fake, but it obviously felt real when he was going through it.
Although Hope is furious with Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) over what she did, she’ll be grateful Liam isn’t dying and will continue bonding with him.
It’s starting to feel like Liam and Hope’s friendship is inching closer to romantic territory again.
The timing couldn’t be better for Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire), who’ll make more plays for Carter soon.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will question Carter about what he really wants his future to look like, but Carter will defend his engagement to Hope.
Finally, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have to watch Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) plan their wedding – all while hoping that Ridge is going to ditch Taylor for her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke will count on some Ridge reunion news, but she’ll struggle to keep hope alive as Ridge waffles.
