The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, June 12, reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will greenlight Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) trip while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) bargains for a leaked secret.
After Kyle updates Claire on Audra’s latest pitch, she’ll surprise him with her stance.
Claire will no doubt warn Kyle to be careful when it comes to Audra, but she’ll ultimately approve of him going to Nice with his former flame.
This will just look like part of the competition that Audra’s been pushing for, so Claire will get on board.
Since Claire is so focused on Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) and his hospital crisis in Chicago anyway, she may think it’s a good time for Kyle to attend this party and keep himself occupied.
It’ll be all business as far as Kyle and Claire are concerned, but Audra will plan to turn this into the final phase of her trap and launch the breakup Victor is demanding.
Speaking of Victor, he’ll sit down with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and wonder how exactly she thinks she can bribe him.
Chelsea will insist she can offer Aristotle Dumas’ true identity, but Victor will presumably be skeptical.
Although Chelsea may not be able to supply Victor with hard evidence, she could at least give him a name and reveal how she came to this conclusion.
Chelsea might promise she can click the puzzle pieces into place and feel confident that Victor can prove her theory right with a little investigating.
In return on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Chelsea will expect Victor to finally drop his smear campaign against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Of course, Chelsea might want to think twice about negotiating with Victor since he tends to just do whatever he wants anyway!
Even if Chelsea strikes a deal, there’s no guarantee Victor will stick to it.
As for Chelsea’s guess on who Dumas really is, she may have the wrong idea entirely.
It’d be silly for the show to reveal Dumas’ identity through a conversation at Crimson Lights, so Chelsea may be proven wrong in the end.
Regardless of who Chelsea suspects, all signs still point to a Cane Ashby recast being the man behind the mysterious Dumas saga.
Billy Flynn seems poised to take over the part and make a big splash soon enough.
In the meantime, Audra will cover her tracks with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) as best as she can, but he could still grow suspicious of her agenda when it comes to this party.
Audra may not mention that Kyle is her plus one, so that news could cause some drama in her relationship with Nate eventually.
