The Young and the Restless Tuesday, December 23 Update: Cane’s Romantic Disaster – Traci Warns Diane

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 23, reveals that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will face a romantic disaster while Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) stands her ground and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) warns Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters).

Although Cane made progress with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at the Abbott Communications launch party, it may take Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about two seconds to undo it!

Phyllis has a knack for stirring up trouble for Cane, especially whenever Lily comes around.

It turns out Lily will pop up somewhere and spot Cane in a rather intimate moment with Phyllis – or it’ll at least look that way.

It’s possible Cane will surrender to another make-out session with Phyllis.

Even just a scene where their faces are inches away from each other could give Lily the wrong idea about Phyllis and Cane’s continued involvement.

No matter how it all goes down, Lily may feel like a fool for thinking she might give Cane a chance.

Cane may seem like a liar since he previously tried to convince Lily that he was moving on from Phyllis.

While Cane sinks his latest Lily reunion effort, Traci will prove she’s the wisest member of the Abbott clan.

Y&R spoilers say Traci will deliver a gentle warning to Diane and perhaps convince her to put all the Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) drama on hold for a bit.

There’ll be time to resume the fight against Victor later, but Traci might give Diane a nudge to keep love alive in her marriage and concentrate on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) this Christmas.

At the coffeehouse, Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will deal with some regrets about going off with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) alone.

After Noah gets some ice for his bumped noggin, he’ll talk about the attack he faced and the fact that Sienna has now vanished.

Noah, Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will all debate whether Sienna is a victim or in cahoots with Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) again.

Since Noah has fallen hard for Sienna, he’ll defend her and argue that she’s become a repeat hostage.

Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) was the one who pulled a weapon on Sienna and led her away, so we’ll see where Annie took her soon enough.

Sharon will stand her ground when it comes to Matt and refuse to cower in fear when it comes to this monster.

As for Nick, he’ll make it his mission to corner Matt and force his enemy to play by the Newmans’ rules!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick and Matt have more faceoffs ahead of them, to stay tuned for updates on all the alarming news ahead.
