The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of August 25-29 reveals that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will find that she can’t escape the past while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) have a showdown. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will also make an announcement, so some big moments are brewing in Genoa City.
After Victor blackmails Cane into a partnership against Jabot, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may lash out at Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Nick will try to undo the damage with that usual charm of his, but Phyllis will definitely have some issues with the Newmans.
As for Cane, he’ll make Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) his confidant and share some things about the past six years off-screen.
Once Lily grills Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and comes up empty regarding Cane’s overall plot in Genoa City, she’ll think back to happier times.
Lily won’t be able to escape all the memories and how much she still cares about Cane deep down.
Other Y&R spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will make her way to GC again, so Cane will have some new instructions for her.
Will Cane rely on Amanda to fight back against Victor’s extortion? Could Cane already have the advantage through a secret trap?
Whatever the case, Billy will monitor the situation as best as he can and give Jack some crucial updates later.
Y&R fans will also see a fierce faceoff between Jack and Victor, so some heated scenes are on the way.
Across town, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will have some fears about Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and the pain she’ll feel if her future with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) falls apart.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will also deal with the reality of losing Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), so he’ll confess something to Devon Winters (Bryton James).
Will Nate want Audra back despite his gut feeling that she’s been telling lie after lie?
Nate isn’t absolutely positive that Audra’s guilty of the things Claire accused her of, so that could open the door to their romantic reconnection – at least briefly.
Of course, both Audra and Kyle seem poised to pay the price sooner or later.
Kyle will face Claire’s question about whether there are any lingering secrets from Nice – specifically about his time with Audra there.
We’ll see how honest Kyle decides to be as he prepares to make a big move.
Speaking of big moves, Nikki will make one at Chancellor as well.
