The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of December 15-19 reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will make a horrifying discovery while Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) sends Detective Annie Stewart (Catherine Kresge) after Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun).
Y&R’s weekly promo starts with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) arriving for Abbott Communications’ retro-themed launch bash.
After Phyllis says she told them this party would be fun, Daniel will think it’s a little early to label it!
There’s a good chance Daniel will mostly be there to keep an eye on Phyllis and stop her from causing chaos.
However, Daniel could easily get distracted by Tessa once they settle into their party groove.
Whatever the case, Phyllis won’t be happy when she spies Cane flirting with Lily at the bar.
Although Lily was adamant that this isn’t a date, it’ll sure look like one from where Phyllis is standing.
While Phyllis gets jealous and prepares to make a scene, the other party guests will mix and mingle.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be delighted to see everyone having a blast.
When it’s time for speeches, Sally will talk about their allegiance to the facts as well as the people who’ll look to Abbott Communications for the truth.
Billy will be right by Sally’s side as they play up their grand plans for the company.
At some point, Jack will notice some alarming news on his phone and exclaim, “What the hell?!”
Diane will be equally perplexed and disturbed once Jack lets her see this horrifying discovery.
It looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will find a way to target Jack despite his shutdown precautions, so stay tuned for updates on how he’ll pull it off.
In the park, Matt will meet with Annie, who’ll point out that Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) has Sienna stashed in a suite at the GCAC.
Of course, viewers know that’s just a decoy room, so Matt may consider that possibility and realize Sienna could actually be on the Newman ranch.
Regardless, Annie will still be taking orders from Matt, so he’ll make it clear what he expects of the detective turned criminal.
“Yeah, I don’t give a damn if it’s difficult. I need you to take care of Sienna,” Matt warns in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
