On tonight’s 9-1-1 Nashville episode, Dixie didn’t tell Blue what she did. She didn’t tell him she set out to get pregnant. She wanted to force Don to leave his wife and be with her.
It didn’t work out the way she intended. It only served to make her even more bitter when Don chose to get back together with his wife. Dixie told so many lies that when Blue found out she was no longer welcome at his dad’s house he tried to guess at the reason.
He didn’t know beforehand that she faked vomiting up blood to get Don and Blythe to pay her surgery. He said that to them, but the couple hadn’t known about it. They told him to just have a talk with his mom about what really happened.
The ambulance crew got called to the scene of an influencer. She was doing a collab with Kristin Cavallari. They were making masks of their faces and Kristin’s got stuck on hers.
She couldn’t breathe. Roxie saved her life. They all went viral because they whole thing was caught on the livestream. Ryan knew that his wife was a huge fan of both influencers.
He asked for a souvenir to take to her. Only there was a problem. He went to the hospital because she told him she’d be at work and she wasn’t. She had the day off.
Sam also turned off her location on her cell phone. Ryan checked that next when he realized his wife lied to him about where she’d be. It left him worried because there weren’t many reasons why Sam would lie about where she was. It wasn’t just one lie either. She came home wearing her uniform. She claimed she had a busy day at work.
She wanted to quickly take a shower and head to bed. The couple were still in marriage counseling because they often struggled with communication. And that wasn’t it this time.
Ryan felt so insecure about what could be happening that he checked Sam’s phone. She was in the shower so she never knew he did it and Ryan’s reaction was a literal “Oh My God”.
It could’ve been disgust at his own actions or at what he saw. Either way, he needed advice. He went to see his mother. He talked to her about what’s been happening with Sam.
He also said that he couldn’t check her text messages because she changed her passcode on her cell phone. She hasn’t done that since they got engaged.
Ryan wanted to know what to do if trust is being lost. He asked his mother because she was familiar with it. She and his dad were separated when they both saw other people.
They got back together. It just happened after Dixie became pregnant with Blue. Blue asked his mom what she did by the way. She admitted she got pregnant on purpose.
He called it twisted and so Dixie does what she always does. She manipulated him. She told him that she’s been there for him everyday. And that her biggest sin was giving him life then the problem must be with Don and Blythe.
Dixie told Blue not to go to that birthday party at the mansion. She said the couple were asking him to pick a side. He needed to choose her. She did everything possible to paint Don as the bad guy.
She’s the one that got pregnant. She’s the one that refused to let Don meet Blue. She’s the one that tried to manipulate Blue into getting a cash grab from his father’s wife.
Like it’s Blythe’s fault that Don loved her and chose her. Though Ryan did get a case that put his marriage in perspective. This woman pushed her husband off the ladder and he crashed into a glass door.
It came about because Cheryl saw photos of a naked woman in their bedroom on Larry’s phone. Poor Larry died because Cheryl didn’t recognize photos of herself from thirty years ago.
It made Ryan realize that he needed to talk to his wife. Confront her if necessary as long as he didn’t let this situation fester. Blue also came to a realization.
He and his brother saved a man from a burning house. He deliberately set the fire because his mother had him locked in that room since he was eleven years old. She did it after his father died.
The woman was sick. She kept claiming that she needed to protect him from the outside world. She spoke him as this kid and he was an adult. He’s been locked for what looks like twenty years.
He set the fire just to escape her because she was slowly killing him. He was too light for an adult man. Blue said he was featherlight when he carried him out of the fire.
He heard that woman excusing her crimes and it reminded him of his mother. He’s never stood up to her a day in his whole life. He did so tonight. He told her that he would celebrate his birthday at his dad’s. And Dixie responded by kicking him out of the house.
No discussion. No change of heart. She kicked him out that night and he didn’t have time to get his stuff. He wasn’t alone in confrontation.
Ryan also confronted Sam and she told him that she had a miscarriage while they were separated. She found she has a heart-shaped uterus. Miscarriages will always going to be highly likely. She was pregnant again. She got pregnant after Knoxville. So, she was worried and she she didn’t want to let him down if this pregnancy didn’t pan out.
