Tonight on NBC America’s Got Talent begins with an all-new Tuesday, August 26, 2026, episode and we have your America’s Got Talent recap below! On tonight’s AGT season 21 episode 15 “Quarterfinals 2 Results″, as per the NBC synopsis,
“One act advances straight to the finals with last night’s Golden Buzzer. America’s votes will reveal which three acts from the previous night’s show will move on and compete in the Semi-finals.”

In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, mistakes were made. It just came at a costly time. There were no do-overs at this stage. Not for anyone. If they didn’t put their best foot forward yesterday, their best bet would be the hope that their body of work throughout this season would help them in the end.
America will either come through for them or not It was all revealed tonight. The guests tonight included Kaylor Martin and Dan Ghleesing. Nene Royal also returned when she didn’t have to. She may be a contestant this season, but that young lady was already a star in her own right.
Nene was big worldwide. AGT helped launch her career and now Las Vegas may not be able to contain this rocker. People needed a tour from her. Preferably soon. Nene returned tonight in spite winning the Golden Buzzer yesterday and so she was the first person to enter the next round. The guest stars all couldn’t believe how sweet old Brad and Tracy were so twisted. Tracy had no problem torturing the crap out of him. It surprisingly wasn’t done out of hate. It was done out of genuine fondness. And that’s something everyone could feel coming off of them.
Which is why it was so shocking.
AGT also brought back a standout from last season. They brought back Steve Ray Ladson. He performed “About Go Down”. The country rocker opened his own song before the segway into The War & Treaty. It turns out a certain other show’s judge plainly doesn’t know how many black artists are in Country Music nowadays. Brad and Tracy meanwhile found themselves in the same grouping as Butter & Grit. One was a horror show and the other was a delightful singing act. It was no surprise when America chose to go with Butter & Grit.
A name that was sprung by a love for an American institution. America couldn’t help choosing them. Especially once you realize that the other act wasn’t suitable for children or people with a gag relax. Mel had been on point with her assessment of the both of them yesterday. She was also sadly in the right when it came to a beloved figure, Patrox. Patrox dancing in reverse was great in its design. It just didn’t up the ante from his original audition. His audition happened to be confusing at first as well.
It took them reversing the footage of his dancing to get everyone to understand it. It was good. It had its place, but it couldn’t be sustained. The winner of AGT would be headlining their own show in Las Vegas and that couldn’t work for him unless Patroz proved great to watch in all the intervals. Not just the end. Patrox was in the same grouping as Come Here and it was Come Here that was moving on.
Geno Ploeger was in the same grouping as Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm. Again, it was no brainer because Mel B really did tell it like it is. The boys had an off performance. They chose the wrong song. They chose a song that clearly couldn’t feel for themselves. Geno was moving on. The brothers should try again next season because they are talented and are still growing into their voices. Another advancing contestant was Veronika Goroshkova. She had been up against LaRussell. While LaRussell didn’t have a great night, they still hit people in their feels so that had been a tough one.
Mackenzie Sol found himself up against Bety. They were both singers. They both put their heart into their music and it was felt a little more by one than the other. That’s what it all came down. It came down to emotion. Mackenzie had people in tears. Bety didn’t quite access the emotion she was aiming for. Mackenzie was making it through and one of the best things he did was tell Bety a job well done because she did do a great job. It wasn’t her best. It also wasn’t the worst performance she could’ve given either.
Now those acts were in a group of their own. Not everyone said group was advancing to the next round. The three acts moving tonight were Veronika, Come Here, Geno.
And all others were eliminated.
