In tonight’s Big Brother recap, the Legends headed towards a showdown tonight. Only not all was what it seemed. Rachel returned because she was the red herring. She made everyone look one way as Julie Chen moved someone else into the house. The third person competing for HOH was Dee. Dee was known from “Survivor”.
She was social. She was competitive. She was just as much of a threat as Rachel was and that left people reeling. This included her fellow “Survivor” alumni, Devins. Devins was joined by Angela from an earlier season of “Big Brother” and both of them were genuinely shocked by Dee’s arrival because they knew she was a double threat.
Dee won her season of “Survivor”. Devins was already involved in a feud. Angela was well-known for her breakdowns. This HOH fight was juicy with gossip.
By the way the feud involving Devins was with Taylor. Taylor went over to greet him. She wasn’t acknowledged. She also knew herself well enough to say that she was going to be petty and hold that encounter against him for the rest of the their joint time in the Big Brother House. Taylor wasn’t just going to let anyone disrespect her. And that was fair.
It would be fairer if Devins knew he insulted her, but he hadn’t picked up on that one. He didn’t know he was in a feud or that this HOH competition was going to be dragged out for as long as possible.
This episode had a late night segment where they covered all the gossip from inside the house. They showed footage not aired yesterday. Its how people found out about the feud to begin with. They also learned that Angela wants redemption. She was known for the Mama Drama last time and she hoped she worked on that crazy look in her eyes whenever she targeted someone.
Dee returned because she wanted to be a double winner. She wanted to be known as the person who has won on two different competition shows. Big Brother was basically like Survivor.
It just happened inside of a house. Remember that Big Brother season that might’ve happened in a different country where they didn’t even know about the pandemic.
These people are all playing games from inside the house and two people from Survivor has already kicked off a sense of unease. La Trice for one was upset that Devins and Dee knew and played on the same season.
Everyone else was a stranger. Their first encounter with someone else from Big Brother was when they had an interview with Taylor Hale before entering the house.
They got to discuss their game plans this season. Jason went as far as to admit that he wants a guy to win this year. He was hoping to be that guy as long as it was a guy – he’d be fine.
There’s a reason Jason didn’t come with his drag attire. He wanted to bench his alter ego of Selena and let Jason play the game his way. Now will it work is the question?
It all depends on the HOH competition. Something increasingly farther away. They got rid of Rachel last episode. They introduced Dee this episode and they took forever to get around to it.
They were more focused on their side show of Big Brother Unlocked was hosting a full episode. They had on Rachel as a guest star. They also brought in BB Superfan Jerry O’Connell.
Derrick Levausseur was the co-host to Taylor. They sat and gossiped with everyone. They enjoyed Rachel’s fashion choices. And they got to joke around with the intern before they officially turned on the live feeds.
But the HOH competition was still going by the end of the night. They had to put together a puzzle of a fire. Devins seemed to be in the lead. Not that anyone could sleep on the others and so it won’t be until Sunday before a new HOH was crowned.
No one seemed to care about the curse of winning HOH the first week because the legends considered it a power move.
