Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) could shatter her newfound friendship with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) by dating Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
Gwen and Gabi have become close in a short period of time and have bonded over the Gabi Chic knock-off purses debacle, something Gwen brought to Gabi’s attention.
There’s been a lot of talk about girl code and how Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) destroyed her friendship with Gwen when she dived into bed with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
While Gwen and Xander didn’t have a relationship, and their romantic activities were limited to the bedroom, Kristen knew how much Gwen cared about Xander, but she crossed a line anyway.
Gabi was mortified when Gwen shared the details of Kristen’s betrayal and cheered her on when she found out that, after a cat fight, Gwen pulled out chunks of Kristen’s hair in the aftermath.
Interestingly enough, Gwen has had some encounters with Philip in the recent past.
The two share some interesting sparks, and the way they banter back and forth is both comedic and entertaining.
Was Days conducting a chemistry test between Gwen and Philip or setting up a future storyline?
Philip was with Gabi at the time of running into Gwen, so there wasn’t heavy flirting going on, but many DOOL fans buzzed that these two could have a fun romance if given the chance.
It’s a little out of the norm to pair Gabi with Gwen as besties, but the ladies do seem to be getting along swimmingly.
If they spend enough time together in the coming weeks, which it seems like they will, could they become bonefide BFFs?
What happens if Philip dives deeper into Gwen’s orbit? Could she find herself developing feelings for Gabi’s ex?
Gabi did screw things up in that relationship by lying to Philip about her alliance with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to bring Titan down.
Still, how would Gabi feel if Gwen started dating her ex? Then again, Gwen and Philip may start their relationship like most romances start, in between the sheets!
Finding out the two are doing the deed may sting far worse for Gabi than simply a few dates.
The fiery Latina doesn’t seem to be a person who would be okay with a friend sleeping with her ex, so Gwen may start to understand Kristen’s perspective once she’s in the situation!
