General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, September 10, reveals that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) had an irate reaction.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was also forced to make a difficult choice.
Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) took the first step toward Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) divorce, so here’s how Thursday’s show played out.
At Anna’s apartment, she called Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) over to take her weapon and badge since she wasn’t fit to serve.
Anna had to step away from the police commissioner role again and wanted Dante to serve as the acting commissioner in her place.
Dante agreed and learned there’d been an incident last night.
Anna explained that she’d been fooling others and herself regarding her recovery, so she was going back into treatment.
Anna couldn’t do in-patient therapy again due to her trauma, but she was committed to her recovery there in Port Charles.
If Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) reached out to report what happened, Anna needed Dante to listen to her and do his duty.
At GH, Britt filled Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) in on Anna almost killing her.
When Emma came to speak with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) about Anna’s new therapist, she wound up clashing with Britt.
Britt insisted Anna needed to pay, but angry Emma ran down the list of past transgressions that Britt had gotten away with.
Felicia also pushed Britt to think about all the chances she’d been given to start over.
Once Anna showed up at the hospital, she apologized to Felicia for manipulating her to score her freedom and revealed her Peter August (Wes Ramsey) visions.
Anna explained a bit about what went down with Britt and wanted to make things right.
Anna’s new therapist, Dr. Nichols (Kearran Giovanni), arrived to speak with Anna as well.
Lucas tried to get Britt to see how much Anna had been through, but he understood that Britt’s ordeal was rough on her, too.
Britt was adamant about Anna needing to pay for what she’d done.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) showed up to fill in for Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) after Tracy hired legal representation for Brook Lynn.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) agreed it was a good idea to get ahead of this.
Brook Lynn realized a legal meeting was underway, so she learned she could land in hot water for damaging public property and not reporting it due to the guardrail incident.
Once ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) arrived and heard Alexis spell out the events of that night, she said there’d be a fine for the guardrail.
Brook Lynn wasn’t legally culpable for leaving the scene of the crash, but Justine tried to guilt-trip her by mentioning all the horrible things that happened because she kept quiet.
In a private moment with Alexis, Tracy also revealed that she wanted legal help for Brook Lynn’s divorce.
At Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) place, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) came over to talk things out with her.
Trina didn’t blame Gio for Brook Lynn’s actions, but they were unsure about what was next with their music careers.
Brook Lynn showed up at Trina’s door after Gio left, but Trina definitely didn’t look happy to see her!
At the police station, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) informed Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) that Brook Lynn was the other driver the night of the Ashford crash.
When Dante appeared, he announced that he was the acting police commissioner again due to Anna’s latest leave of absence.
Dante spoke to Chase about Brook Lynn’s lies and about his decision to sleep at the Metro Court last night.
It was hard for Chase because he already missed waking up to Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Ned eventually came to collect Chase from the PCPD and insisted they were leaving to save Chase’s marriage.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) told Josslyn that Britt’s accusations against Anna were accurate.
As Jason and Josslyn rehashed Anna’s captivity nightmare, Josslyn reflected on how Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) saved her life.
Josslyn felt guilty for repaying Cassius by trashing his memory after he was gone.
Jason realized Josslyn must’ve gone along with the WSB’s narrative in exchange for his freedom, but she quipped that she could neither confirm nor deny that.
Although Jason didn’t think it would help Anna to get the WSB involved, he also knew Josslyn might feel she had to uphold her duty.
No matter what Josslyn’s decision was, Jason vowed to support her and knew Anna would understand, too.
“Only you can decide if you should turn Anna in,” Jason said on Thursday’s episode.
Gio met up with Emma later and found out about Anna almost killing Britt.
Emma regretted tearing into Britt at the hospital, but Gio suggested Britt might surprise them with her actions regarding Anna.
