On tonight’s Law & Order SVU, there was a man who was found bound as well dumped in a tub. He was found in time. EMTS got him breathing again. He was rushed to the nearest hospital. Only the cops had no clue what his real name was. He checked into the motel as John Smith.

The motel was full of his stuff and they weren’t sure if it was. SVU was called in because it was believed the victim might be working man. They initially thought a game of bondage went too far with one of his johns. It took them finding a bag full of weapons to make them realize that something more happened in that room.

Again, someone attempted to drown the victim. Yet the items in the bag they found was a knife, a full-faced bondage mask, and a gun. None of which was used on the victim.

Griff had never seen anything like it. The detective asked if anyone else has and they all gave him a negative. They soon checked the victim’s fingerprints and he was in the system. His name was Ian Larkin. He’s been arrested several times since he was eighteen. He had a ninety day sentence recently. And he unfortunately died at the hospital.

This became a murder case. The Homicide division was full of cases. Benson sweet-talked them into letting SVU keep investigating. They searched that motel room from top to bottom. They eventually found tickets to the New York Knockout Expo. It was an event full of wrestlers. Griff was in heaven at the expo.

He watched the fights a lot growing up. It was something he could bond over with his uncle. They paid for Pay-Per-View. They’d stay up all night eating junk food. Griff didn’t know about the event and now that he does he couldn’t wait to get autographs.

Benson had to remind him they were working a case. There was one woman who flirted pretty heavily with the police captain. She even conned Benson out of forty bucks before she’d admit she saw the victim on the first day of the expo. He refused to buy one of her autographs. He was focused on the main attraction.

The headliner was Clint O’Neil. He was known as the Executioner back in the day. He wore the full-face bondage mask. He said he didn’t recognize the photo of Ian they showed him. He only took photos with a polaroid camera. The cops thought he was just an old man getting older. They had been wrong about that.

Clint O’Neil wasn’t just a wrestler. He was a predator. They found out that Ian and some of his friends were in a fan group that loved the Bruiser Fighters. They took part in MMA before it went legitimate.

They would take part in these brutal fights in the hopes of someone from the big league would notice them. Well, O’Neil noticed them. He pretended to take them under his wing and then grooms them. He was a child molester. These kids were teenagers. Ian couldn’t resolve what he survived so he turned to drugs. He became known as unstable junkie.

His friends turned their backs on him. His family turned their backs on him. His brother was even happy when he heard that Ian was dead. He was tired of Ian eating through their parents’ savings to fund his drug habit. He never knew that his brother was abused as a kid. When he found out, he hated himself for blaming Ian for his struggles.

The cops only found out about the abuse from one of Ian’s friends. Roddy “Razzor” Ray was still in the fighting ring. He never gave it up and he didn’t want to come forward with allegations. He didn’t want to risk his career.

Razzor sent a message to Ian to keep his mouth shut so that he could keep that career. Ian was looking into suing O’Neil for the abuse he suffered. It turns out O’Neil would send these boys packing with a check for twelve hundred dollars and an NDA. They didn’t think they could talk. Only Ian looked into it.

He found out he could sue and it gave enough push to be sober when he confronted his abuser. He was a junkie yet his tox screen was clean. He was knocked out from behind with the motel table lamp.

Its how someone now weaker than him managed to knock him out. The cops just didn’t know if it was O’Neil or his agent that killed him. They claimed to be together all night. O’Neil’s cellphone showed that he was with Sharon Huntsinger at the restaurant until he traveled back to his hotel. Benson leaned on Huntsinger.

She once covered up for her biggest client and she couldn’t do it anymore when it came to murder. She said that O’Neil left early. He left his cell phone behind and she’s the one that took it to his hotel where she returned it to the front desk.

O’Neil was a slippery guy. He put his alibi in place before he killed Ian. The cops then turned to Razzor as a means of connecting O’Neil to Ian.

It fell apart at trial. Razzor took back his statements because Huntsinger made a deal with him. He chose his career over the truth. O’Neil escaped charges. He just didn’t escape justice.

Ian’s brother Shawn later killed O’Neil out of guilt for not protecting his brother when he was younger.

THE END!
