The Bold and the Beautiful B&B) spoilers update for Monday, September 21, indicates that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will face some alarm bells during his continued conversation with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will also feel stuck thanks to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), so she’ll move Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) to tears with her gift.
At the cliff house, Carter once again ignored Steffy’s attempts to stand against the surrogacy scheme.
Steffy’s feelings apparently don’t matter as much as Carter’s desire to save his marriage, so he just delivered a curveball.
When Daphne suddenly arrived, Steffy certainly wasn’t expecting Carter to say she was willing to serve as the egg donor and surrogate.
Carter piped up about that without Steffy’s approval and seemingly wanted her to feel trapped.
Daphne will seek confirmation from Steffy on Monday’s B&B episode, so Steffy might be tempted to act like Carter misunderstood.
However, once Steffy sees how excited Daphne is about this possibility, she just won’t be able to say no.
Daphne wants to be a mother more than anything, so Steffy is in a position where she can make that happen for her.
The problem is that it’ll require more lies about Steffy’s night with Carter and the timing of this surrogacy.
Nevertheless, Carter feels like it’s the best way forward at this point.
Steffy will finally become a team player on Monday’s show, so Daphne will hug her in an emotional moment of gratitude.
Of course, Steffy will look like a frazzled mess over Daphne’s shoulder!
It’ll be obvious that Steffy’s heart is still torn, but she’ll try to push aside her desire to raise her own child and make this work.
At the hospital, Taylor will caution Finn about something related to Steffy and his marriage.
Since Steffy remains out of sorts, Taylor may stress the importance of Finn making his relationship a priority and avoiding unnecessary challenges.
That could be an issue since Steffy is signing up for one of the biggest challenges of her life!
Finn may vow to make things easy for Steffy, but he won’t anticipate the surrogacy shocker she’ll deliver soon.
Monday’s episode will also bring some new scenes at Bikini Bar, where Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will trash Taylor for not giving Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) the marriage commitment he wants.
Deacon may rush to Taylor’s defense, but part of him will worry her engagement ring rejection could mean bad news for their future together.
