The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that it hasn’t been that long since Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) tied the knot, but it’s never too early to start planning another soap wedding.
Could a new marriage proposal already be in the works? Who’s going to pop the question and potentially turn one lucky lady into B&B’s next bride-to-be?
Engagements always seem to be just around the corner on the CBS soap, so let’s consider some couples that might be headed in that direction.
We should start with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) since they’ve fallen madly in love with each other.
Deacon isn’t officially divorced from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) yet, but he’s made it clear that he wants Taylor instead of her.
With that in mind, there’s nothing stopping Deacon from proposing to Taylor in the not-too-distant future.
Deacon feels like he can’t live without Taylor, so we could certainly imagine him popping the question sooner rather than later.
If Taylor accepts and gets engaged to Deacon, that decision could lead to more trouble.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) might feel like Taylor’s pressing her luck with Sheila, whose anger could still erupt in unpredictable ways.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would also object to making Deacon her husband and locking herself into a future with him, so that’d be another path to drama.
However, we can think of another romantic duo who might land in engagement territory, too.
Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) wants RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) to get as close to Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) as fast as possible, so it may not be long until she’s pushing him to propose.
Since Ivy is all about being “proper” these days, she might insist RJ needs to put a ring on it if he wants Electra in the bedroom.
Ivy might hope she can rush Electra to the altar and talk her into accepting that RJ is her forever prince.
That could raise the stakes of Ivy’s scheming and push Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) even closer to Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock), who knows all about Ivy’s manipulation and is keeping the news under wraps.
Of course, there might be another engagement shocker instead, but Deacon proposing to Taylor or RJ proposing to Electra seem like the best options right now.
