The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that Eric Forrester (John McCook) may have to pick a side if Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushes this whole co-CEO thing far enough.
Brooke was previously fine with being a member of the executive team in general, but Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) has convinced her that it’s not enough.
Now Brooke suddenly wants to force Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) out of the co-CEO spot and plop herself in it instead.
B&B fans know Brooke loves the idea of being on the Forrester throne with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) – and when Eric finds out what Brooke’s pushing, he may love the idea, too.
It’s easy to imagine Brooke gushing to Eric about everything he accomplished alongside Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and urging him to see that she wants the same thing.
Since Brooke is hoping to essentially become the new Eric and Stephanie, Eric may decide he supports Brooke and Ridge as a leadership duo.
Eric has always had a soft spot for Brooke, so he may throw his own granddaughter under the bus for Ridge’s wife!
Will Eric root for Steffy’s demotion and side with Brooke when it comes to Forrester’s new leadership era?
If so, Steffy’s sure to be outraged and feel totally betrayed by her grandfather.
Of course, Steffy will save some outrage for Ridge and perhaps argue that he should’ve shut Brooke down completely from the get-go.
Steffy may feel like Ridge coddles Brooke and lets her get away with far too much.
Hope may face backlash as well since Steffy will surely know she’s the one who got Brooke fixated on this co-CEO plan.
Steffy has already been fed up with Hope lately, but this may really push her over the edge.
Steffy will do whatever she can to stay in charge along with Ridge, but certain employees will think maybe change could be a good thing!
