The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, September 17, reveal that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will play dirty to get what he wants.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will get backed into a corner now that Carter has made a shocking suggestion to Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire).
After Carter made his proposition at the cliff house, Steffy couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
Steffy just doesn’t see how this whole egg donor and surrogate plan can work for multiple reasons, especially because she can’t bear the thought of giving up her child.
Of course, Carter thinks that once Steffy’s mind shifts to surrogacy mode, she can start to view this baby as a gift for Daphne.
Plus, Carter suggested Steffy could be the godmother and be there to witness every milestone.
Even so, Steffy rejected Carter’s plan and intends on going through with her confession to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), so it seems Carter has taken drastic action to stop her.
Carter just hinted to Daphne that Steffy could be the answer to making their family happen, so he’s going rogue!
Steffy was clear about her stance, but Carter is convinced this is the only way to save both their marriages.
It seems like Carter is hoping that if he gets Daphne excited about Steffy being their potential egg donor and surrogate, it’ll pressure Steffy into agreeing to all this.
Steffy might be more willing to surrender to Carter’s plan once Daphne puts her on the spot.
Carter is essentially trying to trap Steffy into giving up her baby, but he’ll feel like he’s just doing what he has to do.
Daphne will have a hard time wrapping her head about Carter’s egg donor and surrogate proposal, but Carter will maintain that this is the perfect solution since she doesn’t want a stranger carrying the baby.
At the cliff house, Steffy will continue to mull over Carter’s pitch and the sacrifice she’d be making if she gave up her son or daughter.
Although Steffy gave Carter a firm no, she may let herself consider the alternative on Thursday’s B&B episode.
Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) will come over and see that Steffy is an emotional wreck, so her fears about her daughter will grow stronger.
Although Taylor will put Steffy through a grilling session, she may not pry much information out of her at this point.
However, it’s obvious B&B is going to move forward with this messy surrogacy story, so Carter’s plan should work in the end.
This is all building to Steffy agreeing to Carter’s idea, so more complications are ahead.
