The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, October 6, reveal that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will add to their deception.
Now that Daphne Rose Walton (Murielle Hilaire) is questioning why Carter and Steffy kept secrets from her, they’ll have to make some phony excuses.
Of course, Steffy is already struggling with extreme guilt and doubts about Carter’s shady plan.
This understandably feels all kinds of wrong to Steffy, so there’ll be a moment when she nearly cracks under the pressure and spills the whole truth.
However, Carter will be there to intervene and make sure Steffy doesn’t tell Daphne about their shocking night together.
That would ruin the surrogacy plot that Carter has come up with, so he’ll do whatever he can to keep Steffy focused on their bogus story.
That said, Daphne is feeling overwhelmed and doesn’t understand why she wasn’t told about the implantation beforehand.
That’s something Steffy and Carter should’ve included Daphne in, so it makes sense that she’s got questions.
Unfortunately, B&B fans know Carter and Steffy are lying since there was never any procedure at all. Steffy and Carter are just trying to conceal how she ended up pregnant, so they’ll have to keep piling on the deception.
Carter may ultimately take the lead here and suggest it was about protecting Daphne from more pain.
Perhaps Carter will contend that they just wanted to get through as many steps as possible and ensure the greatest chance of success before involving Daphne.
Whatever the case, Carter and Steffy will eventually offer a good enough explanation to appease Daphne, so she may thank them for everything they’ve done for her so far.
Over with Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), he’ll get another push from Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom), Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) and even Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) as he wrestles with his potential fashion house switch.
Later, Katie will meet up with Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) at the beach house and acknowledge that she came through on getting Zende to hear Logan’s offer.
Dylan will wonder if that’s enough to prove her loyalty, but Katie may not be so sure about that.
Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) will come home and take matters into his own hands with his mom by midweek, so stay tuned to watch him try to score Katie’s approval for Dylan.
In the meantime, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) will be excited about her new youth line at Forrester Creations.
This is Electra’s chance to make a name for herself in the fashion world with RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) backing her up.
