The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) recap for Wednesday, May 13, reveals that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fought for her future and added to Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) problems, so here’s how all the action played out.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge tried to explain how Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) felt it’d be a comforting image if they were running the company together.
Steffy couldn’t believe Ridge was trying to push her out and warned him not to pretend he was recreating the magic of what Eric Forrester (John McCook) had with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery).
Stephanie had a lot of influence, but Eric was the one who held the CEO title.
Steffy didn’t have a problem with Brooke trying to be the matriarch, but she insisted Ridge needed to give her another position – not the co-CEO spot.
Ridge pointed out that the Forrester kingdom would eventually be Steffy’s, but he suggested Brooke thought this could be a beneficial chapter for now.
Steffy played up her own connections and contributions, so Ridge admitted he was proud of her.
It didn’t really feel that way to Steffy when Ridge was trying to replace her with Brooke!
Steffy guilt-tripped Ridge over his history of choosing Brooke over their family and assumed he loved Brooke more than her.
As Steffy reflected on all her scars, she pushed Ridge to stop listening to Brooke and choose his daughter over his wife for once.
At Brooke’s house, she was brimming with confidence over Ridge doing what was best for his Logan.
Brooke and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) debated whether Steffy would come unglued over all this, but they remained hopeful about a positive change.
Next on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) looked at bad designs from another potential designer and suggested they were only appropriate for Halloween!
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) offered some encouragement, especially since Hope could still come to Logan and help them make a post-Eric splash.
When Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) arrived, he admitted Hope might be sticking with Forrester Creations.
Liam explained that Brooke could be replacing Steffy as Ridge’s co-CEO, so Katie and Bill were taken aback over that news.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will remain torn between Steffy and Brooke in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
