The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that a familiar face will kick off a comeback stint on Tuesday, April 14. That’s when Christian Weissmann will reprise his role as Remy Pryce, and it turns out he’ll be on contract this time around.
SOD confirmed the contract news and shared an interview with Weissmann about his big return.
Weissmann was eager to step into Remy’s shoes again since he feels there’s a lot more to exploring to be done.
The question is: Has Remy really turned his life around? The answer may not be so simple according to Christian Weissmann.
“I think he believes in his heart of hearts that he has turned over a new leaf, but there’s always a question of whether or not he could slip back into old patterns,” Weissmann said before hinting that Remy’s heart-driven impulses could be a problem.
Weissmann acknowledged that Remy could make some of the same blunders despite wanting to stay on a better path, so that makes him a bit of a wildcard.
Of course, B&B fans will recall how Remy and Deke Sharpe’s (Harrison Cone) romance was blown apart due to revelations about his past.
Deke was horrified over Remy’s deepfake drama and the fact that he stalked Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace).
However, Remy hasn’t been ready to give up on love so far. Despite Remy’s mistakes, he’s been hopeful that maybe Deke will forgive him and give their relationship a fresh start.
In fact, Remy will pay Deke a visit on April 14, so they’ll share some awkward scenes at Il Giardino. Deke still has feelings for Remy, even if he’s not ready to embrace a romantic do-over just yet.
Remy might even get some help from a mysterious connection on canvas. A big reveal is on the way that’ll link Remy to another surprising character.
“I think the connection is very unexpected,” Weissmann admitted.
“But also, I would say that the history that becomes unveiled with Remy makes sense because this person is cut from the same cloth as him, and it just makes their relationship and everything to do with Remy so much more complicated.
Could Remy have a shocking family link to Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) or something along those lines?
Maybe Remy could be a surprise sibling or cousin depending on what the show has in mind.
That would certainly throw Deke for a loop now that he’s become Dylan’s friend.
It would also give Electra another reason to lash out at Dylan, so perhaps Remy will be tied to the former art teacher in an exciting shakeup.
