The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one B&B actor and GH Alum recently posted about a tough health battle that’s been happening off-screen.
Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) shared some medical news on social media that came as a shock to his fans and even some of his co-stars.
Deacon has been living his best life lately since Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) signed the divorce papers and officially set him free.
There’s nothing holding Deacon back from his next chapter with Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig), so wedding bells may be in their future soon.
Things are going well for Deacon on B&B, but Sean Kanan has unfortunately been dealing with some health drama behind the scenes.
The CBS soap star and GH Alum (A.J. Quartermaine Jr.) opened up about that in a new Instagram post and shared a pic of himself in good spirits following his ordeal.
“After a challenging six days including spinal surgery to eradicate a blood infection, I’m leaving the hospital.
Thanks to the incredible Doctors and staff @provsaintjohns”
Kanan also offered up some advice after enduring this health crisis for nearly a week.
It’s easy to see that despite everything he’s been through, Kanan still has an attitude of gratitude and is already looking forward to his next side project.
“Life is precious. Now it’s time to make a movie! #FinalJudgment,” Kanan said as he wrapped up his post.
In the comments, Sean Kanan received support from several of his castmates, including Don Diamont (Bill Spencer), Romy Park (Poppy Nozawa), Darin Brooks (Will Spencer) and Kimberlin Brown.
“Damn!! I hope all is well,” Brown said to her former TV husband.
“Dude, what?!?” Brooks said while indicating his own stunned reaction.
Thankfully, it looks like Kanan is doing much better following his hospital stay.
Kanan always brings some fun to the show through his role as Deacon, so we’ll look forward to seeing more of him.
