The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that an intriguing set points to some legal drama coming up.
Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) recently posted an Instagram story that features a jail cell, so fans will no doubt be eager to see who gets locked up for a potential crime.
“Sometimes you gotta go over your lines in a jail cell!” Egan said as she included a couple of photos of herself looking over her script on this jailhouse set.
It’s pretty common for Y&R actors to hang out on nearby sets while they’re waiting for another one to be clear.
It’s possible Chelsea could be the one who ends up behind bars, but her fancy attire suggests otherwise.
This is likely just a case of Egan going over her lines in the jail cell because it was a quiet place to read.
Once Egan had a chance to look over her dialogue, she probably headed over to film on whatever set she was actually meant to work on.
That said, the set itself is a spoiler since it proves someone’s going to get arrested and land in it!
There’s no other reason for the show to put up this set, so someone indeed has a legal crisis ahead of them.
It’s just a matter of which character might face an arrest mess down the road.
A few options immediately come to mind, so let’s talk about them.
For starters, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) or even Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could land behind bars for their deadly cover-up in Los Angeles.
It’s also possible Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) could be the one to get locked up.
It’s doubtful Y&R will throw away Matt’s redemption by having him do anything heinous anytime soon, so he might be wrongfully accused or even framed.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) might be another option since trouble always seems to find her.
Then again, it could be Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) or Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) who eventually gets stuck in the slammer.
