It’s another wild day in the land of Genoa City, so it’s time to talk about all the drama that’s set to hit the fan before the weekend hits!
First off, Nikki and Victor will hit the ‘start over’ button; however, this surely can’t mean the two have agreed to let bygones be bygones and reunite?
Nikki has made it clear that she is standing her ground where Victor is concerned and wants him to show remorse.
In fact, what she’d love to see is him apologize for what he’s done to the Abbott family.
After all, he brought Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) back to town, only for her to turn around and try to kill both Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) – within days of each other.
Not to mention Diane’s kidnapping, too! It seems highly unlikely that Victor will say he’s sorry.
There’s also the fact that he’s shown little remorse or sympathy for what Diane and Jack have gone through.
To boot, things were going well for Nikki and Victor after her eye surgery, but when he found out that she had gone to visit Jack at the hospital, he was outraged.
Still, as Nikki is getting her bandages off, and it’s unlikely that she’ll get her vision back anytime soon, will these two try a “fresh start” and be more civil to each other?
Perhaps if only for the sake of their children and grandchildren? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless spoilers for July 17 imply that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will worry about Devon.
The man has been a lot angrier as of late, and this stems from unresolved feelings surrounding his son’s kidnapping.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) wasn’t just a friend; she was like family.
Especially since she was Dominic Winters, Chancellor’s (Ethan Ray Park) surrogate mom.
Mariah’s kidnapping was not only traumatic for Devon, but a massive betrayal. Could he have another outburst where he lashes out at someone?
What will trigger this? Will he get news about Mariah’s possible release? Maybe he sees her out and about in Genoa City if she’s already been released?
Lastly, Matt will do something that causes friction for Noah and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Tunie). Matt is a changed man; however, Noah still has his eye on him.
Matt could do something purely by accident that triggers Noah and causes waves between him and Sienna, so it looks like these three will have another confrontation.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Noah is looking for any reason to doubt Matt, and if the man crosses a line, even unintentionally, this could cause the hotheaded bar owner to lash out.
