The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that one character could get an unexpected son or daughter soon. The show may be gearing up for some stunning news that’ll change multiple lives during November sweeps.
Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) was the last character to face a long-lost child revelation since he found out Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) kept him in the dark on his son, Holden Novak (most recently played by Nathan Owens).
Now it might be Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) turn to face a similar shocker since we know his former flame is coming back to town.
Y&R is recasting Roxanne Barrington (now played by Tetona Jackson), so there must be a good reason why.
Roxanne was last seen in 2013, but what if she was pregnant when she left Genoa City behind? Devon could be next in line for a surprise child if that’s the case, so let’s consider how this might play out.
The preview video for the week of November 2-6 features Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) realizing she might be pregnant.
However, Abby previously couldn’t carry a baby to term, so the show may be setting her up for disappointment.
Abby might face another miscarriage like she has in the past, but the most likely option is that this is simply a false alarm.
That could leave Abby bummed and could perhaps get her considering whether it’s time to give Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) a sibling via surrogacy or even adoption this time around.
That’s when Roxanne may resurface with Devon’s child and blow him away.
We’d say it makes the most sense to give Devon a daughter and age her up a bit so she can eventually be part of Y&R’s brewing teen scene.
We could imagine Devon’s daughter getting together with Christian Newman (last played by Alex Wilson) since we’re probably getting a teenage Christian recast on-screen sooner or later.
Whatever the case, Roxanne may be ready to come clean about a huge secret she’s been keeping.
Do you think Devon will find out he has a child he never knew existed?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Abby’s marriage may be tested in more ways than one, so stay tuned!
