The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, August 10: Marie Seduces Nick as Jade Harlow Debuts in New Role

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 10, reveal that a new character will appear on the CBS soap.

Jade Harlow’s first airdate as Marie Kirkland will arrive, so fans can expect her to stir up some trouble right away.

Of course, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will already be spinning out and making bad choices.

Instead of returning to rehab and getting the help he needs, Nick will rely on pills and hope to wallow in his struggles alone.

It looks like Nick may find a crummy motel on the outskirts of town and check in so he can have some privacy.

However, Marie will come crashing into Nick’s life at the worst possible moment and suggest they could have some fun together.

Marie seems poised to encourage Nick’s drug use and perhaps seduce him a bit as well.

Nick and Marie could end up hitting the sheets if he decides to go along with her plans for a good time.

That said, Y&R spoilers point to Marie being someone who wants a new beginning.

Marie will be looking for an escape from whatever issues she’s running from, even if she’s not coping in a very healthy way.

It’s easy to imagine Nick and Marie facing a new version of rock bottom together before they make a pact for a fresh start.

Nick may eventually realize he needs to get back on a better path and resolve to help Marie do the same.

Whatever the case, Marie and Nick will do some bonding on Monday’s show as Jade Harlow kicks off her run.

It’ll be interesting to see whether this blooms into a love story for Nick and whether it might totally pump the brakes on whatever might’ve been brewing with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

The show has been reluctant to commit to Nick and Sharon’s romantic reconnection, so the addition of Marie may be yet another way to avoid the reunion so many fans want!
