The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 24, reveal that Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) will catch Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) off guard.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also get a surprise of his own at Jabot, so let’s discuss what’s coming up in Genoa City.
For starters, it looks like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will decide to stop by Jack’s office now that he’s back at work.
Nikki may want to make sure Jack’s recovery is still going well since it hasn’t been that long since he got out of the hospital.
However, it’ll become obvious that Jack’s distracted and that he’d rather be alone.
Once Nikki realizes Jack is trying to get rid of her, she’ll double down on her questions instead and push Jack to tell her what’s really going on.
Jack might open up to Nikki about the unpaid debt that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) discovered and how he’s fighting for control of Chancellor.
Perhaps Jack will also admit he has a chance to put all this to rest if he accepts Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) offer to pay off the loan with interest.
Of course, Jack will worry about infuriating Billy and losing his relationship with his brother if he goes through with that.
Nikki may serve as Jack’s confidant he chooses to talk things out and get some advice.
Following Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) visit to Nick’s rehab facility, Y&R spoilers say he’ll need something else to distract him from thoughts of drugs and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
Nick will end up doing a puzzle and will get some help with it when Marie suddenly appears.
Marie will give Nick a new perspective on that puzzle and perhaps admit he gave her a new point of view on her own life.
Marie owes Nick big time for saving her from a grim fate and may thank him once again for being her hero, even if he doesn’t feel like one.
It looks like Marie has committed to her own recovery and will truly want to turn her life around, too.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Nick will have a chance to react to Marie’s good news, so stay tuned.
