The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 21, reveal that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will come through for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in a big way while Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) makes a decision that could lead to danger.
For starters, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will realize they have to put all their conflict on hold for Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) sake.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) isn’t buying that Nick truly has his addiction under control, so she may sound the alarm to Nikki and Victor on Thursday’s Y&R episode.
That could be why Victor and Nikki will put Nick above their hostility soon enough.
In the meantime, Jack should be pleased over Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) voicemail and the chance to hopefully get their marriage back on track.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will check in with Jack and may hear the good news about Diane softening toward his dad.
Of course, that’ll leave Kyle with concerns about Jack’s plan to partner with Patty.
Kyle will seek reassurance that Jack won’t go through with it since there’s too much at stake.
Diane most certainly wouldn’t be on board with Jack and Patty’s alliance, so he may decide to bow out before he gets in too deep.
Since Jack will indeed change his mind about Patty on Thursday’s show, he may ultimately let her know their partnership against Victor is off.
That could leave Patty fuming and cause her to latch onto Matt even more.
Whatever the case, Patty will be a key player in Matt’s storyline since she’ll come to his rescue.
Thanks to Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) decision to knock Matt out and tie him up, he’ll be in a dire predicament.
Patty will bribe a GCAC housekeeper (Marcy Goldman), who’ll no doubt grant Patty access to Matt’s suite and get a hefty sum to keep quiet.
Patty will untie Matt and take the gag out of his mouth, so he’ll be grateful for his freedom.
In New York, it looks like Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will all celebrate Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) procedure going smoothly.
There’ll be a bottle of bubbly involved along with some smiles and perhaps some dreams for the future.
