The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, May 19, reveal that Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will do her part for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) while Devon Winters (Bryton James) delivers something to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) at her psychiatric facility.
For starters, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will clash with Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell), who’ll insist she’s figured out Phyllis game.
Since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) suddenly wants the charges against Phyllis dropped, Christine will call Phyllis out for using Matt as leverage.
Christine may warn Phyllis that her sneaky plan isn’t going to work.
The case is in Christine’s hands now, so she may insist the charges are sticking regardless of any deals Phyllis makes on her own.
Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will try to intervene when the conflict between Christine and Phyllis threatens to get out of hand.
It appears Daniel will also have some concerns about Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), who apparently won’t be returning his texts or calls.
Daniel will ask if Christine has heard from Danny and will seem uneasy, so we’ll see where Y&R is going with all this.
As for Patty, she’ll do her best to help Matt sneak around town and tackle his tricky situation.
After trying to poison Matt against Phyllis in Monday’s show and promising she’s got his back instead, Patty will seemingly keep that promise by stepping up for him on Tuesday.
Of course, there’s always something in it for Patty when she makes a move, so Matt could still get betrayed sooner or later!
At Mariah’s psychiatric facility, she’ll sit down with Devon when he arrives for a tense conversation.
Devon will have a special delivery to pass along, so it might be a card or drawing from Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark).
Dominic remains worried about Mariah, so he still considers her a friend and doesn’t hold their messy “road trip” against her.
Devon feels differently since he believes Mariah deserves prison time for kidnapping, but he’ll try to find a way past his anger.
Mariah will show genuine remorse for her actions during this discussion, so Devon will talk to her about forgiveness and whether it’s possible.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah and Devon could have a breakthrough eventually, so stay tuned for any big news that might be brewing.
