The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may have to intervene after Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) revenge goes too far.
Will Victor hide some shocking proof against Nick in the aftermath of a raging encounter?
Once Nick holds Joe (Chris Grant Wenchell) the drug dealer responsible for Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) latest overdose and hospitalization, he’ll unleash his wrath.
Nick’s “you’re a dead man” vow in the September 30 episode could be a hint about what’s ahead.
On October 1, Nick will go wild and make Joe his target.
It looks like Nick will take all the pain and anger he’s feeling out on Joe, who’ll end up lifeless on the ground in an alley.
The question is: Will Joe be unconscious or will Nick actually kill him?
If it’s the latter, Nick may have major regrets after making a huge mistake.
Nick tried to take the fall for Marie when she accidentally shoved her husband, Logan Kirkland (Tommy Walker), to his death.
As a result, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) scolded Nick for almost causing quite a legal crisis for himself.
Now Nick could be facing another awful ordeal if the truth about his attack on Joe comes out, especially if his former dealer doesn’t survive.
If Nick can’t find a pulse once he goes off on Joe, he may panic and call Victor with disturbing news.
After all, Victor would do anything for his children, including covering up a fatal outcome like this.
In fact, Victor already cleaned up a similar mess back when Nick decked Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and accidentally killed him.
Y&R fans will recall that a car crash was staged to cover up the real Ashland story, but Victor may not want to take the same route here.
It might be better for Victor’s men to make the body disappear somewhere it’ll never be found.
Whatever the case, Victor is a powerful guy with all the connections he needs to cover this up for Nick.
Even if Joe pulls through, Victor could still make sure he’s treated off the radar somewhere and that he never shows his face in Genoa City again.
One way or another, Victor may have to step up and take care of this for Nick, who’ll realize he’s got a long way to go when it comes to controlling his temper and responses to triggers.
Nick could wind up haunted by this Joe situation and worry he’s just as much of a monster as Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) used to be.
That could easily lead to Nick struggling with the temptation to pop pills.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Joe and Nick’s faceoff will bring some great action no matter what, so stay tuned.
