The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, August 26, reveal that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) news will leave Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) on edge, so she’ll have a warning to pass along.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is proposing a Vibrante relaunch since using Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) previous rivalry idea could generate buzz.
Despite Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) concerns about this being some sort of sneaky revenge plot, Kyle will deny that since Victoria is the one who came to him with the suggestion.
However, some alarm bells will go off for Diane later.
Once Kyle pitches Victoria’s plan to Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane may also worry Kyle could end up turning this into a vengeful scheme.
It could lead to Diane warning Kyle not to provoke Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) wrath again or do anything to hurt Victoria since Claire wouldn’t approve.
As for Jack, he’ll meet with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on Wednesday’s Y&R episode as well.
Lily will wonder if Jack is ready to accept her offer to pay off the loan and end all the Chancellor drama.
Although Jack would like to put this mess behind him, he can’t do that without totally infuriating Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
It looks like Jack will reject Lily’s proposal and insist she’ll have to deal with Billy instead.
Lily will ultimately seek some advice from Jack, so she may wonder if he has any tips on how to deal with his unruly brother.
At Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) rehab facility, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will arrive for the visit his son requested.
Nick is still struggling to cope with his addiction, but he knows he can’t keep avoiding his family members forever.
Now that Nick’s had a heart-to-heart with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), he’s ready to have one with Victor as well.
Nick will get honest about how hard all this has been and lean on Victor for support during this difficult time.
At some point, Victor may offer a cryptic confession about a plan he’s set in motion to deal with Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) for good.
It could be Victor’s way of trying to ease Nick’s mind about what’ll happen once he recovers and comes home.
