The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of July 27-31 tell us some big storylines are about to get even hotter.
Some baddies could do the unexpected while secret plots get underway, so here’s what Y&R viewers can look forward to.
First, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will have to deal with his rage over Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) imminent release since she’s set to be discharged from her psychiatric facility soon.
Although Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will try to help Mariah transition back into the outside world, some drama is still in store.
Mariah may face more of Devon’s fury as his issues take a toll on his marriage to Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) as well.
Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) drug temptation could also worsen since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be having such a hard time without her eyesight.
Between that and Nick’s stress over Matt Clark (Roger Howarth), he could be at risk of a relapse.
As for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll make some bold moves after finding out Jill Abbott (Lauren Koslow) has been keeping a secret.
Some important information will land in Billy’s possession, so that’ll send him down a dangerous road.
Billy will end up going after something he’s wanted for a long time, so it sounds like his Chancellor obsession will come back in full force.
Both Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have to deal with the fallout of Bill’s upcoming scheme.
Of course, Lily and Cane may grow closer as they fight back, so some sizzling bedroom moments could be coming up.
Over with Matt, he’ll have to decide whether he’ll accept Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) job offer and give his romance with her a real chance.
Plus, Matt will have to figure out how to deal with the Newmans’ wrath if he follows his heart in more ways than one!
Next, the Abbotts will work on tracking down the summer house that Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) previously stayed in.
Will Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and the others prove successful or will Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) have to give Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) the in-person visit he wants to get the exact location?
Regardless, it sounds like a hideout ambush could be coming up sooner or later.
If Dr. Markham is indeed staying in that house, the Abbotts may arrive for a showdown and work to eliminate the threat.
Even behind bars, Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will remain a wildcard.
Will Patty help Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) take Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) down or perhaps find some way to escape eventually?
Whatever the case, Kyle will keep up his bonding sessions with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so they’ll remain on track for some romantic tension as their connection grows stronger.
