The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 1-5 reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will work to crack a case and may throw some angry allegations around in the process.
Things may also take a sizzling turn for one romantic duo, so let’s talk about what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, it looks like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will finally get the professional help he needs to deal with his drug addiction.
Nick should enter a rehab program – whether it be an outpatient one like he talked about or something that requires an inpatient stay instead.
The relief of Nick getting back on the right track could bring a slight thaw in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) tense marriage.
Could this be the start of Victor and Nikki working their way back to each other?
Once Victor locks Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) up in the workout area of the ranch, he’ll have to figure out what to do next.
Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) should enter the picture sooner or later and help the Newmans deal with their Matt problem.
Over with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll ignore Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) warning.
Although Phyllis may insist Patty is wasting her time by hanging around and trying to win Jack over, Patty won’t give up just yet.
Meanwhile, Jack should kick off a frantic search for Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) following Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) heads-up that something’s wrong.
If Diane is really missing and not just hiding out somewhere on her own, Patty could easily be responsible.
Jack will surely suspect Patty at some point, so he may confront her soon – especially if his search efforts initially fail.
Perhaps Jack will demand some answers about Diane’s location and warn Patty that she’ll pay if she’s harmed one hair on Diane’s head.
Of course, Patty will deny that she’s kidnapped Diane and thrown her in captivity somewhere.
Will Patty be wrongfully accused or just lie as she covers her tracks?
On another note, Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may face some hot temptation.
Lily might be wary of falling back into bed with Cane for multiple reasons, including his recent procedure and the fact that she doesn’t want to move too fast.
However, Cane may assure Lily that he’s feeling fine and that he wants this as much as she does.
Will Lily hold off on sizzling with Cane in the bedroom or decide they’ve waited long enough for this next reunion step?
