The Young and the Restless Tuesday, August 4 Update: Victoria’s Impossible Mission – Billy’s Temper Tantrum

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Tuesday, August 4, indicates that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tackle a challenge that she may not be able to conquer – at least not for very long!

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also let his anger explode, so there’ll be a lot happening in Genoa City.

For starters, it looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will get in Billy’s face and push his buttons.

Victor always knows exactly how to get under Billy’s skin, so this time will be no different.

Y&R spoilers say Victor will remind Billy of some difficult memories as he provokes him on Tuesday’s show.

Whether Victor mentions Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) or just sticks with Jill Abbott’s (last played by Lauren Koslow) permanent disappointment in Billy, he’ll definitely hit on a topic that infuriates his foe.

However, this Newman-Abbott showdown won’t be the only hostility threatening to erupt in Tuesday’s episode.

Since Victor doesn’t buy that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) just gave up Newman Media for nothing, he may continue to grill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Victor may once again push Adam to reveal how he really convinced Sally and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to surrender the company.

Adam doesn’t want Victor to know about the secret payment that he offered up, so he may get defensive like he did before.

Victoria will apparently sense that the father-son friction is getting out of hand and do her best to put a stop to it.

Although Victoria doesn’t trust that Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) are telling the whole truth, she may remind Victor that they got the result he wanted.

Newman Media is back under Newman control, so Victoria may argue that good news is the most important thing.

Since Victoria won’t want to see Newman infighting, she’ll apparently push Victor to just move on and stop harassing Adam over this.

Victoria would rather celebrate Victor’s reunion with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and will want to make that the family’s focus.

Even if Victoria succeeds in keeping the peace temporarily, we all know another round of Newman drama is always just around the corner.

There’s just no way to stop it for very long!

Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll feel like he’s spiraling out of control even more in rehab.

The longer Nick stays there, the more he’ll feel like he needs to break free as soon as possible.

Nick will apparently exit rehab early and head home, but he’ll continue to deal with some drug temptation and anxiety.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will calm down long enough to watch Victor and Nikki renew their vows later during the week of August 3-7, so stick with the CBS soap.
