The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 5, indicate that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will react to some disturbing news about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Christine Blair Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) will also force Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) into a situation she’d rather not be in while Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) history gets probed.
For starters, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will try to smooth things over with Sienna since her previous attempt to interrogate her went south.
Sienna ran out of Sharon’s house after facing too many questions about Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) fatal outcome.
Of course, Y&R fans know Matt is alive, so his story will pick back up soon.
In the meantime, Sharon will try a different tactic when she quizzes Sienna about her past, which may involve “Mitch” aka Matt and how their relationship came to be.
As for Phyllis, formal charges are headed her way.
Christine is moving forward with the case that the Newmans have thrown at her, so Phyllis’ arrest should be coming up in Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
It seems Christine will grab some police officers and corner Phyllis, but she won’t be stuck in custody for long.
Once Phyllis’ bail is posted, she may vow to keep fighting the Newman clan, even if she’s growing increasingly worried deep down.
As for Nikki, she should find out about Nick’s addiction and the outpatient treatment program he’s signing up for.
Nick is ready to get the help he needs, but the journey ahead won’t be easy.
Nikki will be crushed for Nick, especially since she has a pretty good idea of what he’s going through due to her issues with alcoholism over the years.
Instead of letting Nick’s situation unite them, Nikki and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will keep walls up with each other.
This would be the perfect chance to reunite, but Victor and Nikki will refuse to budge since neither one wants to apologize.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki and Victor’s marriage problems may get worse before they get better, so stay tuned for all the issues and confrontations to come.
