The Young and the Restless (Y&R) update for Tuesday, November 3, reveals that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will throw a baby ban at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will also decide to travel out of Genoa City, but it’ll just involve a quick visit somewhere familiar to certain soap fans.
Since Y&R has a crossover event ahead with Beyond the Gates, Devon and Lily will prepare for their trip to Fairmont Crest.
Lily and Devon will be on hand for a studio album recording that’ll make them part of some upcoming BTG action.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Sally Spectra-Abbott (Courtney Hope) and a problem she’s facing.
Sally gets that Adam is struggling emotionally and wants to support him, but she also doesn’t want to rock the boat in her new marriage to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
It’ll be tough for Sally to navigate all this, so she’ll speak with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and hope he can offer words of wisdom.
Although Jack may applaud Sally for trying to push for peace, he may think it’s pointless to expect Billy and Adam to maintain a truce for long.
It’d be better for Adam and Billy to avoid each other, but that can’t happen if Adam keeps obsessing over Ruby Spectra-Abbott and popping over to see her.
Despite Sally’s efforts to convince Billy that Adam’s not going to be hanging around all the time, part of her may fear Adam’s getting fixated.
Chelsea will fear the same thing following Adam’s decision to once again push for another baby.
Adam will try to sell Chelsea on the idea of a younger sibling for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but Chelsea will double down on not wanting to go through another pregnancy.
This is a conversation Adam and Chelsea have had before, so she won’t get why they have to keep rehashing it.
It’ll be obvious that Adam’s Ruby fixation is behind this baby push, so Chelsea won’t think that should affect their own family’s future at all.
Adam will confuse Chelsea when it comes to his feelings toward Sally as well, so there’ll be a lot for them to unpack on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
