The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 8 Recap: Nikki’s CEO Offer, Billy & Sally’s Gatsby Wedding Theme

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Tuesday, September 8, reveals that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will react to a surprising business opportunity.

Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also settle on a new idea involving their upcoming nuptials.

At Crimson Lights, Nikki will bump into Billy and blast him over the Chancellor situation, but Billy will point out that he’s focusing on Sally and the baby now.

At Society, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will sit down with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) for a meeting about her Vibrante patents.

Victoria will demand a number, but Audra will want something much more interesting than just money.

Audra will push for an exclusivity deal that’ll mean Newman paying big bucks so that Vibrante is the only cosmetic company advertising on Spectra-Charles Media platforms.

After Audra says her lawyer will be in touch about the price, she’ll strut out right as Nikki enters.

Nikki will get the latest news from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who’ll ultimately offer her mother the Vibrante CEO position.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will show up for takeout, so he’ll interrupt when he stops by Victoria and Nikki’s table.

When Kyle learns Nikki may be running Vibrante, he’ll still be eager to compete – even if it means not going head-to-head with Victoria anymore.

Nikki will have doubts about a startup like Vibrante being able to go up against Jabot right out of the gate.

Although Nikki will find Victoria’s CEO offer intriguing, she’ll have some reservations.

Nikki will speak with Victoria privately about her concerns and insist that if she’s going to run things, she’ll need the freedom to do things her way.

That means nixing the Vibrante-Jabot social media feud since Nikki won’t agree that it’ll work out well for them.

Victoria will wonder if Nikki will be OK with going up against Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) since Jabot will still be their competition.

As for Kyle, he’ll flash back to his time at the motel with Victoria and lock eyes with her through the window as he leaves.

At the park café on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Audra will talk to Sally about the sponsorship deal she’s hoping to lock in with Victoria, which could be huge for Spectra-Charles.

Since Jack and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will come home from their trip early, Diane will head to a business meeting.

That’ll give Jack a chance to meet with Billy and find out where things stand regarding Chancellor.

Due to Sally’s baby scare, Billy will admit he’s put his Chancellor fight on hold until after the birth.

Jack will think Billy needs to drop this permanently and will offer a small fortune to fund a brand-new company for Billy, but Billy will basically think Chancellor is the key to proving all his doubters wrong.

After Billy and Jack bicker some more, Billy will bolt for a wedding planner appointment.

Billy and Sally will shut down Pietro ‘s (Jai Rodriguez) wild suggestions, but they’ll like the idea of doing something retro.

Pietro will think they should do a Gatsby wedding theme, so Sally and Billy will approve.

Once Kyle finds Jack and Diane at the office, they’ll discuss the online Vibrante and Jabot rivalry that he’s cooked up with Victoria.

Kyle will think they can use this to get back at Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle and Victoria have more issues ahead of them due to their personal connection, so don’t miss what’s in store.
