The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 9, reveal that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have some important matters to discuss with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will also find out something that catches her off guard. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will end up taking more gambles regarding Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
For starters, Nick will talk to Michael about Marie Kirkland’s (Jade Harlow) legal situation now that she’s admitted to police that she was the one who shoved her husband, Logan Kirkland (Tommy Walker), to his death.
Of course, Marie didn’t mean to kill Logan or do any real damage.
Logan was the one who first got physical by grabbing Marie, who fought back with disastrous results.
The cops took Marie down to the station for a more in-depth interrogation, but Nick vowed to send Michael to help her.
That’s why Nick will want to speak with Michael about this whole legal mess on Wednesday’s Y&R episode.
Fortunately, Michael will prove he’s an excellent lawyer who knows what he’s doing.
It looks like Michael will make all of this go away and help Marie avoid facing any charges over the accident.
Nick will be filled with gratitude as he thanks Michael and pulls him into a hug.
Once Michael plays fixer, Nick will breathe a sigh of relief and hope it means Marie can get her recovery back on track.
Sadly, there’s no guarantee that it’ll work out that way! Marie is in a fragile state and doesn’t seem as committed to a better future as Nick, so trouble could still be brewing.
Over with Chelsea, she’ll be thrown for a loop thanks to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) upcoming moves.
Adam will apparently make some choices without Chelsea’s knowledge or approval, so that’s going to lead to trouble.
It sounds like Adam will show loyalty to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) instead of giving Chelsea a chance to weigh in.
Chelsea and Adam should have some conflict ahead of them at Newman Media as a result.
As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll be ready to get to work.
After accepting Victoria’s offer to run Vibrante, Nikki will have plenty of ideas to put into action.
Of course, Victoria and Kyle will have to be careful now that Nikki is getting in the mix here.
Since Kyle and Victoria will ultimately keep sneaking around, they’ll have to be extra cautious to avoid tipping Nikki off to any scandalous news!
