Teresa Giudice Claims Melissa Gorga Had a Sweetheart Contract with the Tabloids — Now it’s Blowing up in her Face!

Teresa Giudice is suffering backlash from a statement she made regarding her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. Teresa boldly stated in the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 5 reunion that Melissa had a relationship with Radar Online. She said the website would not post negative stories about Mel as long as Radar Online was fed dirt on her.

Mel denied Teresa’s claim. Radar Online also denied having a contract with Melissa. Editor-in-Chief Dylan Howard said, “Melissa has never sold a story to RadarOnline.com. There is no contract, agreement or deal to provide sweetheart coverage about Melissa. It’s a complete fabrication. Perhaps Teresa was given some wrong information, but we’re happy to set the record straight for Teresa, Melissa, the other Housewives and all the fans of New Jersey.”

Teresa may have made up the story because of bad blood with Melissa. During the reunion episode Tre admitted to Caroline Manzo she told a lie about her because she was angry with her former friend.

Regardless who is telling the truth about this rumor Tre did bring up a valid point. Readers weighing in on this story also noticed Radar Online has not printed any negative stories about the J-Lo Wannabe and thorn in Teresa’s side. One reader commented,

“I saw the allegation Tre referred to in a blog where people were basically just wondering why ROL didn’t have an article about the “marital rape” issue included in the Gorga’s book. It was all over other news outlets but nothing here. Why do you think ROL didn’t find that newsworthy? Rape not likely to generate hits by Radar readers/commenters? Or do you think Radar readers aren’t interested in Melissa if Teresa’s name and picture aren’t included in the headline? Perhaps Radar has a deal with someone else who funnels money to Melissa, like Joe Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita’s mouthpiece Tom Murro, Johnny Wright or even some random family member of Melissa’s but not Melissa herself? That’s the real issue — why didn’t ROL cover it when everybody else did?”

I’m sure Radar Online is not happy about this negative publicity. Previously, during the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 2 reunion, Adrianne Maloof accused Lisa Vanderpump of selling stories to the website. Lisa denied the allegation, and Radar Online backed her up.
