Tonight THE X FACTOR USA returns to FOX with a whole new episode. On tonight’s show the four-chair challenge continues with round # 4 and the top 16 will be revealed. Did you watch night’s episode? We did and we have a full and detailed recap right here, for you.
On last night’s show contestants sang on the “X” stage for a spot in the Top 16 as the new Four Chair Challenge round continued with judges Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio. The new competition round will determine who will remain in each category – Girls, Boys, Over 25s and Groups. The judges face their toughest decisions so far, as they continued to narrow down their groups to their final four. Mario Lopez hosts the all-new “The Four Chair Challenge Round #3.”
On tonight’s show we will see the final four-challenge and but the end of the evening the top 16 acts will be revealed. In a video tonight’s show and the end of the Four Chair Challenge, both Simon Cowell and Paulina Rubio have to decide who should stay and who should go home. By the end, Kelly Rowland is stunned by someone’s decision to send a contestant home.
Tonight’s show is going to be an exciting one, which I am not going to miss and neither should you. Kelly says that she is so excited looking at them; there is something special with them but they do have a little bit of work but they are impressive enough to progress further. Paulina says she loved the song and that they look like superstars. Demi says she is so proud of them, the way they sound so amazing after being together for only a month. Simon says the chemistry and talent is just amazing only having been together for such a short time. Simon decides to let Sweet Suspense to take a seat; leaving in their place is Wild Thingz.
The next group coming up is Yellow House Canyon; they are a duo from Texas. They sing whenever they get the chance and have been friends for a very long time; they want people to just love their music. The pressure is off the chart for them; they are nervous beyond belief but want to make their families proud and to make Simon a country fan.
Kelly says that they looked like they were having a fun time and that she thinks they have great energy to give out. Demi says that she really loves them because of who they are but she believes that one of them have a better voice and that they should split or work on their vocals, believing they don’t belong to sit in those chairs. Simon says he liked their audition a lot; but they aren’t the best singers in the world so he’s on the fence; Simon decides that Yellow House Canyon is going home.
The next group coming up is Forever In Your Mind, they were all solo artists but they were thrown into a group formed by Simon. They want to prove Simon that they deserve this second chance into the competition as a group; they’ve been practicing really hard to do this.
Paulina says she wasn’t all that impressed from their performance; Demi believes they chose the wrong song for their performance and their vocals were weak. Simon agrees that they chose a bad song and Kelly admits they are missing a lead singer; Simon decides to let Forever In Your Mind take a seat and gives them a chance. Going home in their place is going to be is Glamour.
The next group is Good News; they are a duo of young girls from California. They are best friends and they can’t believe they were given this chance to go into the top 10, they hugged Simon when they found out and were amazed at his soft sweater.
Paulina calls them beautiful but doesn’t believe they are ready; Kelly wanted them to prove her wrong but they could and should be giving more. Demi says she agrees with them and doesn’t believe they are ready. Simon says it didn’t work in the slightest and it was boring; their vocals were boring and they are going home.
Next up is Alex & Sierra, they are both in their early 20’s and have been together for a couple of years now; he loves being around her because she makes him so happy. They only performed in front of the judges once and music is something they both love; they really want to win.
Kelly says that she adores them both and loves seeing them singing together; she believes they are so sexy. Paulina says she loves the way they sing and believes in them as a couple and as artists. Demi says they are probably one of her favorite in the competition but asks what happens if they ever broke up; Simon says it was a stupid question. Simon says he could never see the two splitting together and really likes them; loving their twist on songs. Simon tells them to take a seat; the group going home instead is Girls United.
The last group of the night is Roxxy Montana, they all started their singing in church and they are all sisters. Their parents tell them they can achieve anything they want with determination and are proud of them.
Kelly says that they have come to win; Paulina says she did not expect them to be so good. Demi says she looked around and saw everyone on their feet. Simon says he was really impressed and that he believes he could make them incredible since they do have the talent. Simon decides that Roxxy Montana will be taking a seat; the group going home instead is Forever In Your Mind is going home.
