Kate Middleton Fashion Trendsetter – Tops E-Score Survey and Beats Victoria Beckham and Gwen Stefani

The British “Express” recently posted an interesting E-score survey about who is going to be the most influential trendsetter this year. Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is tipped to be number one, followed by Victoria Beckham and Gwen Stefani in the Top 3.

The Duchess, best known as Kate Middleton, though deemed by some as smug and boring, is always good for making fashion trends. In her relatively short time in the public spotlight she has influenced what twenty-somethings all over the world wear more than some starlets in their whole life in the limelight. Whatever she wears, sells out almost on the spot. Case in Point: Her blue Issa engagement dress sold out within hours, and countless blogs are dedicated solely on what Kate is wearing.

She is the living example that a classy wardrobe doesn’t have to cost a fortune.

More on the pricy side are the designs of singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham. Her sleek designs reminiscent of Roland Mouret are as wearable as designer clothes come but with her current range of shift dresses starting at 1650 USD they come with a hefty price tag. Needless to say with Vicky being British, Kate should consider wearing her designs!

Victoria Beckham is her own best model though, always ready to stun on the red carpet or simply running errands.

Stylish mom-to-be and No-doubt frontwoman Gwen Stefani made her step back into the spotlight not only by being pregnant again, but by launching her new clothing line “Design With Purpose”.

According to WWD she teamed up with Michael Glasser, the denim expert behind coveted brands such as 7 For all Mankind, Citizens of Humanity and Rich and Skinny. The 18 piece collection will revolve around a “slouchy trouser” and will be made of eco-friendly biodegradable fabric. And who amongst us doesn’t like a slouchy trouser after a nice meal? We’ll definitely stay tuned for more on DWP!

Other ladies on the list are Heidi Klum and Sara Jessica Parker, who are never afraid of a fashion dare.

Now let us know, do you agree with E-score, or who is going to be your most influential trendsetter in 2014 in your book?
