“Big Brother 17” may be over, but the drama is just beginning. Last week, Austin Matelson and Liz Nolan reached out to TMZ to reveal they are still a BB17 couple. There was speculation that they would call it quits after the game ended. Austin seems to be completely smitten with Liz, but the rumor is she may not feel the same about him. An inside source revealed that the relationship was one side; Austin is head over heels in love with her, and she doesn’t seem as emotionally invested in him.
According to an inside source, Austin is completely in love with Liz. He changed his Twitter profile picture to a picture of them, and cannot stop talking about her. His family voiced some concerns that he is setting himself to be hurt because they weren’t sure she felt the same about him, or at least felt the same intensity for him. His family has every reason to worry too. It looks like she is planning to move to L.A., but it isn’t to be closer to him. She planned the big move, so she can (hopefully) get a break in acting or modeling.
Julia and Liz Nolan did an interview last week. In the interview, Julia expressed her true feelings about Austin, and it wasn’t all good. In fact, her opinion was of him was the same as you saw in the house- she didn’t care for him at all and felt he was trying to come between her and Liz. The shocking part of the interview happened when Liz didn’t stand up for Austin. In fact, she did the opposite and allowed him to be trashed. If you love someone, you would stand up for them when your twin sister was being unfair to them, wouldn’t you?
Liz told Eric at Reality Recaps that they are still going strong… but. She said they are still together, so far. She sounded as if it was a ‘wait and see thing’ with him. She said she is moving to L.A. for other reasons not related to Austin- but he was a bonus. It seems like a huge advantage that he lives in Los Angles, giving her and Julia a place to live- rent free. She contended they are together, but she is unsure of where it may be going. If you asked Austin, he has their whole life planned out- complete with marriage, kids, and a picture-perfect life. It’ll be interesting to see it all pans out between them.
It seems like Austin is head over heels in love with Liz, but it looks like she may not feel the same intensity about him. CDL isn’t implying she doesn’t care for him, but it seems clear she doesn’t see him as marriage material.
Their love affair is so familiar to “Big Brother 15” Amanda Zuckerman and McCrae Olsen. A few months after the show ended, their relationship fizzled.
