We all know that Nick Gordon was involved in Bobbi Kristina Brown arriving at her current condition of brain death following drowning in her bathtub but he is refusing to tell both the cops and Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown what happened.
Despite the fact that Nick Gordon is the prime suspect in the police’s criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina Brown’s drowning and hospitalization, he is refusing to tell anyone what actually happened before Bobbi drowned. From earlier reports, we know that Nick and Bobbi reportedly got into a physical altercation [an allegedly common occurrence for them], and that somehow lead to Bobbi drowning in a tub. We could speculate about how exactly that happened, and those theories range from Nick drowning Bobbi, to Bobbi overdosing on drugs, or Bobbi attempting to commit suicide.
Whatever explanation plays out as the truth, there’s no question that Nick Gordon was involved – so can we blame Bobby Brown for keeping Nick away from his daughter at all costs? Even in addition to the fact that Nick legally has the most right to Bobbi’s money and inheritance, there’s the simple issue of Nick possibly being totally or largely responsible for Bobbi’s comatose state – one way or another.
Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Chris Brown, has spoken to TMZ about the situation, explaining that Nick’s refusal to cooperate and explain what happened to Bobbi is the reason he’s not being let in to see her. Brown explained, “It appears that Mr. Gordon did not want his understanding of the facts to be subject to the truthful examination of various experts or Bobby Brown himself. Mr. Gordon has every right to remain silent and not share his version of events with Bobby Brown. Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe.”
However, Nick Gordon is already hitting back, releasing a screencap of a text he sent to Bobby Brown stating, “Man to man I love your daughter … I don’t know why you won’t let me see her … Your daughter is going to hate you when she wakes up. It’s not like you know her anyways. What’s her favorite color? What’s her favorite smell, movies, food. You don’t know. I forgive you she won’t.”
The whole lot of them are disgusting, but in this particular scenario, we can’t blame Bobby Brown for acting the way he’s been acting. He may have ulterior motives in wanting to keep Nick Gordon away from his daughter, but when Nick is refusing to cooperate, what else is he supposed to do? Just because Nick knows Bobbi’s favorite color, it doesn’t mean that he’s entitled to see her – especially not if he had anything to do with her ending up at the hospital in the first place.
