‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sharon Up To Something With Victor – Avery Vows to Make Joe Pay

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, July 7, tease that Gabriel (Justin Hartley) will give an unconscious Jack (Peter Bergman) updates on the recent shakeups at Newman-Abbott. Gabe will also mention the fact that everyone believes he is Jack’s son and he’ll need to back him up on it. Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) will arrive and immediately get into an argument with Gabriel. While they clash, Jack will worry that all of this conflict is weakening their fight against Victor (Eric Braeden).

At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) will suggest that Lily (Christel Khalil) take a vacation with him in Tahiti. Lily will reply that he may not want to go with her once she says what she has to say. Lily will admit that she’s been unfaithful. Cane will say he can get past her kisses with Joe (Scott Elrod), but Lily will confess that it went further than just kissing. They slept together impulsively, but Lily will hope Cane can forgive her. Unfortunately, Cane will indicate that he’s done and he just doesn’t care anymore.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) will encourage Avery (Jessica Collins) to attend some counseling sessions. Talk will turn to Dylan (Steve Burton) and Sharon will let slip that he’ll be a great dad. After Avery questions her, Sharon will clarify that she’s pregnant. When Avery’s gone, Sharon will say Dylan might be the only one who can help Avery. Later, Avery will call up Paul (Doug Davidson) and threaten to take matters into her own hands if Joe doesn’t pay. Of course, Dylan will have to keep an eye on Sharon as well. On Wednesday, Sharon will show up to see Victor. It’s clear that Sharon has something up her sleeve.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will be grateful that Neil (Kristoff St. John) saved her life. Neil will hint that maybe she should be with her family right now. Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will break up Gabriel and Kyle’s argument. Phyllis will say that Gabe is Jack’s son, but his behavior reminds her more of Victor. When Gabriel and Kyle are gone, Phyllis will cry as she professes her love for Jack.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will discuss how Victor is claiming self-defense after the shooting. They’ll wonder if they should believe Victor or Gabriel’s side of the story. Sage will imply that Gabe shouldn’t be taken too lightly. Nick will comment on how Gabriel acts just like Adam. Nick will add that his own relationship with Victor started to crumble when he walked away from Newman Enterprises in favor of doing his own thing.

After getting a call about Nikki, Nick will rush to the hospital to see her. Nikki will realize that Neil has covered for her by blaming her incident on an MS flare-up. Neil will make sure Nikki knows she needs to attend an AA meeting soon. Once he sees Nikki, Nick will suddenly realize what he has to do. Sage will understand when Nick says he should stand with Victor.

Based on Wednesday’s preview, it looks like Nick will be making a triumphant return to the family business. The clip shows Nick all spiffed up and reporting for duty at the company with his name on the building. Needless to say, Gabriel won’t be happy about it. Y&R rumors say all of this could play a part in the reveal of Gabriel’s true identity. Everyone will finally learn the startling news on July 13.
