Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) will face a dicey situation thanks to Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) new job as the district attorney. Rafe (Galen Gering) will do whatever he can to help Hope, but she’ll still have concerns. Hope murdered Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and that’s not going away.
Some Days fans are a little irritated over the fact that Hope hasn’t faced a formal punishment. Others think Stefano deserved what he got, even if Hope shot him for the wrong crime. Stefano tormented Hope for years and Salem is safer without him.
Regardless of your feelings about Hope’s guilt, she may have to face the music. Rafe promised to protect Hope and he even helped her hide Stefano’s body. These partners have always had each other’s backs.
Hope’s life was finally starting to settle down, but Aiden’s DA gig has left her future at risk. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Aiden will eventually get updates on Hope’s deadly actions. He’ll confront her and demand a confession.
Will Aiden try to blackmail Hope? Does he just want revenge since Hope dumped him? Could this be payback for Rafe’s upcoming takedown efforts?
It should be interesting to see where this storyline is heading. Aiden might even decide not to turn Hope in, but Andre (Thaao Penghlis) will likely rectify that if need be. All Andre wants is to watch Hope and Rafe suffer.
DOOL buzz suggests that a big trial is coming up this fall. Could Hope be arrested and tried for Stefano’s murder? There have been some rumblings about Hope possibly going to prison. Hope could easily get convicted for waltzing into Stefano’s home and pumping him full of bullets.
If Hope lands in the slammer, Rafe will undoubtedly go after Aiden again. Days of Our Lives buzz hints that Daniel Cosgrove may have wrapped up his stint at the NBC soap. If so, Aiden will be headed out sooner or later. Rafe may manage to cause Aiden’s downfall.
Fortunately, Hope won’t stay behind bars permanently if she ends up there. Quick appeals and other legal miracles are always just around the corner. Still, this could be a real crisis for Hope and her family. Her face would be plastered all over the news.
Everyone would be stunned to discover this esteemed cop’s shocking secret. To make matters worse, Stefano was innocent of this particular crime. Many Salemites would pat Hope on the back, but the rest would avoid her in horror.
To be fair, Hope had been through a lot leading up to that fateful Days encounter. She just wasn’t herself after Bo’s (Peter Reckell) death. Hope is doing much better now, but that won’t fix the past. Stefano is dead and someone needs to pay.
