‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Philip Bids Victor Farewell, Leaves Salem – John-Paul Lavoisier’s Final Episode Airs

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) will make a big decision about his future. Philip has had a rough time since he came back to Salem. Some of his difficulties were his own fault, but others were caused by the people closest to him.

When Philip returned, we learned he was cooking up a plot with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). That was a terrible idea. In the end, Philip got burned and Victor (John Aniston) basically disowned him. Vic and Philip fought for the majority of the latter’s stint.

Fortunately, Victor started to come around after the villains hit town. Their relationship isn’t perfect, but it’s not like it was before anyway. Philip is a complicated guy and that makes his relationships complicated, too. Just look at what happened with Belle (Martha Madison).

Days fans know that Philip fell for Belle when she was obviously hung up on Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Philip should’ve walked away, but he just couldn’t help himself. It led to major heartbreak for poor Phil. Later, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) came back to Days of Our Lives. Philip almost instantly fell back in love with her as well.

It’s clear that Philip is lonely and has been grasping at any vague chance of love. His heart got him in big trouble this time. Keeping Chloe’s secret led to Philip’s kidnapping and drugging. That was apparently the last straw. Days spoilers say Philip will decide Salem just isn’t the place he needs to be.

Victor will be surprised to hear that his son is leaving. He might try to talk him out of it, but Philip’s mind will be made up. Deimos is leaning toward giving Brady (Eric Martsolf) more responsibilities at Titan anyway. Philip will think he should bow out and start fresh elsewhere.

Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Victor will understand why Philip made this choice. He won’t blame Philip for wanting a new beginning. Victor and Philip will get a little emotional as they bid each other farewell. They’ll wish each other the best and agree to stay in touch.

Many DOOL viewers were unsure about John-Paul Lavoisier’s portrayal when he first arrived. However, it seems like most fans warmed up to this version of Philip somewhat. Even if you didn’t love him, it was hard to hate him.

Nevertheless, we’ll have to say goodbye. We’ll give you updates as other news comes in. Stay tuned to DOOL and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news.
