“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers tease a showdown over a handsome GH doc coming soon – Dr Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) – and there could be a catfight between Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Tracy is making it plain to Dr Finn that she wants him to stick around Port Charles and will use the Quartermaine influence to get him a permanent slot at GH. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) may push her way back into the Chief of Staff role to make it happen.
Once the Qs get Finn on as a permanent General Hospital fixture, we’ll see Tracy angling to spend more time with Finn. She’s already got him gambling over backgammon with her, but she seems to have more than passing interest in the handsome doctor and who can blame her?
And sure Finn is a little weird with his mystery shooting-up habit and service lizard Roxie, but if Tracy can put up with Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) vagaries, Finn’s oddities are no obstacle. Will Tracy continue her obsession with Finn and be ready to take down any female competition?
The other candidate for Finn’s affections seems to be Carly. Yes, we know Carly is married to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) but GH spoilers tell us that by the time the Nurse’s Ball rolls around, they may be on the rocks because of his escalating violence.
Sonny is determined to move hell and earth to make Julian Jerome (William deVry) pay for killing Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) while Carly pleads with him to back off the mob madness. Sonny won’t calm down and if Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey V Parise) walks on the charges or is killed, he’ll go nuts.
Carly has already been uber-flirty with Finn and we can expect to see more of this, particularly now that Finn is treating Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and may get wrapped up in the investigation of where Joss’s mystery kidney came from and whether it’s impacting her health.
If Tracy finds out Carly is turning to Finn while her marriage cracks, Tracy will lose it and General Hospital spoilers say that could lead to a MAJOR catfight between the two. Tracy already has a low opinion of Carly thanks to her sordid history with AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) so she would not hold back.
And Carly doesn’t think much of her Uncle Luke’s ex-wife, so she wouldn’t mind taking off the gloves to do battle with Tracy. Both Carly and Tracy have a history of fighting dirty and if they got into a war, it would be a brawl extraordinaire…
Who would win if it came down to Tracy vs Carly over Finn’s affections? Carly may have a weight advantage over Tracy since she is taller but Tracy is devious in ways Carly never dreamed. Carly comes straight at her enemies while Tracy’s more likely to plant a bomb that blows up when you least expect it.
