‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Ruthless Chloe Worse Than Victor Newman – Delia Ashamed in Heaven

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tell us that Chloe is headed for a fall and her daughter Delia is ashamed in heaven of her mom’s monstrous behavior. Fans of The Young and the Restless have always known that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was a bit off. Self-centered, impulsive and occasionally stepping over the edge of the law. But, she was never as ruthless as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) until now.

The death of a child would crush any person’s will, especially on the soaps. But, Chloe allowed Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) death to consume her soul. She went away, twice, and had the opportunity to heal her mind. Instead, Chloe used the that time to stew. Then, when Victor recklessly, and tragically as it turned out, used her to frame Adam (Justin Hartley) she willingly jumped overboard.

The Young and the Restless spoilers fan know well that Chloe intentionally withheld Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) real diary pages. Her hope was to keep Adam indefinitely imprisoned. She relented only because Victor threatened to take her second-born child, Bella, of mysterious paternity. Then, Adam’s second conviction on a legitimate charge created a Victor-enabled escape.

Unwilling to allow Adam to go free (again) after Victor’s escape setup, Chloe tracked him through the woods. Devoted Y&R fans know that element within the plot was severely stretched, as Adam received no explanation from the woman who shot him with a dart gun as to how she discovered his whereabouts. Whether Chloe is also responsible for the subsequent cabin explosion, or not, she knowingly left Adam alone to die.

Poor Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was happy to see her claimed-best friend later that day. Not knowing that Chloe had escaped through the penthouse secret passageway in ‘Dark Shadows’ fashion, Chelsea believed that Chloe was supporting her pain.

That point is equally as abhorrent as the rest. Chloe simply didn’t care that she had likely just killed Connor’s (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) father and Chelsea’s true love. She was judge, jury and Adam’s executioner and each unjust step mattered more.

Now, like other developed sociopaths, Chloe told her victim’s family member, Victor, what transpired. She wanted to rub his nose in Adam’s death and must believe that her own relationship with Bella (Cali May Kinder), who is an undeserved gift, won’t be impaired. But, through it all doesn’t Chloe realize that somewhere in Heaven Delia is ashamed?
