‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Tom Killed by New Mob Boss – Franco Attacked by Rudge – Rapist and Bomb Plots Linked

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the Tom Baker (Don Harvey) murder plot will soon tie into the Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) bomb story and things will get uglier as they grow more complex. Tom wasn’t killed by Franco (Roger Howarth) or anyone else that’s part of the regular character canvas.

A new promo video implies it was Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) that did the homicidal deed but that’s a misdirect that’s not even plausible. Alexis may have run down Kiefer Bauer and killed him but she’s not a habitual killer. That was an accident and the guy had it coming, but GH will try and make us think it’s Alexis. There’s video of her waving a knife and threatening Tom, but it’s a misdirect.

How do we know? In the same promo video, Franco is knocked out by the killer. Alexis might have been blackout drunk and did something she can’t remember with Tom but it wasn’t murder – and she certainly wouldn’t have stalked Franco and bricked him in the head to stop him from asking questions. Who would do that? The real killer! Franco brought this attack on himself by asking questions.

At first, Franco also thinks Alexis might have done Tom’s death, but he holds back on turning the info he finds over to the cops. Franco shouldn’t even be investigating Tom’s murder but Seth Baker (Michael Rodrick), Tom’s brother, pressures the cops to focus on Franco. The former serial killer is in a race against time to crack the case before the PCPD wrongly arrest him.

The big reveal is that Tom wasn’t killed by Alexis when he came at her at the bar. He wasn’t killed by his brother as some have suspected. If Seth killed Tom, he wouldn’t be pushing so hard to pursue the case. Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) is a possible killer but more likely it’s the top minion of the new lady mob boss that put the art knife into rapist Tom and left his body in an alley to rot.

Why would Winston Rudge (David Lee) or one of his mob minions kill Tom? Simple. The dirtbag that raped Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was lurking where he shouldn’t be, probably lying in wait for Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) or some other innocent victim, and saw something he shouldn’t. Seeing mob criminals at work is a death sentence and Tom saw too much.

Rudge took care of Tom on the new mob boss’s orders and now the rapist is in the morgue but no one seems to care except for Seth – and Franco, but only because Franco wants to clear his name. Franco will be attacked by Rudge or the bad guy’s minions because he gets a hot lead on Tom’s murder and finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time much like rapist Tom did.

Franco will survive but will he stop pursuing the murder case to save his life and protect Liz? We’ll see. Share your comments below and tune into CDL often for the latest General Hospital spoilers and updates.
