The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, August 8, tease that Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will deliver some shocking news. He’ll explain that Eric has been keeping a secret that involves Quinn (Rena Sofer). Perhaps Carter will fill Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in on Eric’s ploy at the mansion. The secret might be that Eric was simply testing Quinn’s love.
Eric ordered Quinn to set him free if she truly cared about him. After she tearfully signed the divorce papers, Eric ripped them up and insisted that she’d passed the test. He needed to be sure of Quinn’s commitment and remorse. Now that she’s proven herself, Eric is ready to give Quinn a second chance.
Steffy and Ridge will obviously be surprised when they hear about this. Although Steffy isn’t Quinn’s biggest fan, she knows Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) is a far worse option. Steffy may be relieved that Eric is standing by his wife. Ridge will also be glad that Quinn hasn’t lost Eric, but he could feel a hint of sadness as well. Part of Ridge may wish he still had a shot with Quinn. Who knows? Maybe he does.
Sheila will have to find some way to drive Quinn and Eric apart, even if it means playing dirty. Speaking of playing dirty, B&B viewers know that’s exactly what Bill’s (Don Diamont) been doing. He came up with a scheme to manipulate Thomas (Pierson Fode) and someone’s about to become privy to it.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam (Scott Clifton) will get some startling updates from Sally (Courtney Hope). She’ll confess that Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) has a terminal illness and that’s why Thomas left town. Sally will think it’s admirable of Thomas to stand by his family at a time like this.
Naturally, Liam will have questions. He’ll wonder why Caroline kept quiet, but Sally may suggest that Bill was the only one who could pry it out of her. That should set off alarm bells for Liam. He might suspect that his father is up to no good.
Later this week, Liam will confront Bill about his sneaky plan. When Liam tries to put a stop to it, Bill will fire back with a serious threat. It sounds like major tension is on the way.
