Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that John (Drake Hogestyn) will believe Marlena (Deidre Hall) could be in serious trouble. He’ll meet up with Eric (Greg Vaughan) to ask if Marlena has been in touch with him lately. Eric will admit that he hasn’t talked to his mom in a while. He’ll start to grow concerned as well.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) suggested Marlena might be miffed about his constant missions. He told Marlena he was home for good, but agreed to go to Greece moments later. It’s true that Marlena’s been longing for John, but she wouldn’t make him fret like this. Hattie (Deidre Hall), on the other hand, is fine with playing games.
DOOL fans know that Marlena is stuck at a psychiatric facility. Hattie swapped identities with Marlena for this ruse. She assured the shrinks that “Hattie” would claim she was Marlena, but they should ignore her crazy rambling. Naturally, that will make it difficult for Marlena to clear this up.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say John and Eric will decide to take action. On August 8, they’ll report Marlena missing. The cops may not be convinced that there was foul play involved, but they’ll at least check into it. However, John will get some relief when “Marlena” finally appears.
Again, this will actually be Hattie. When she reveals that she was avoiding John, he’ll be a little hurt. Nevertheless, John will focus on making this right. He’ll hope to prove his love and show that he intends to be there for Marlena from now on.
Since Hattie is only interested in Roman (Josh Taylor), she’ll dump John on the spot. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Hattie will reject John’s flowers and apologies. She’ll contend that they’re done with each other forever.
Days viewers are aware of John and Marlena’s lengthy history. This couple has been through far worse situations than a long-distance relationship. John will realize Marlena isn’t acting like her usual, rational self. He may choose to keep tabs on Marlena to make sure she’s OK.
Back at the sanitarium, Marlena will try to find a way out of her jam. Days of Our Lives say she’ll do whatever she can to gain access to a phone. Marlena will want to call John and beg him to get her out of there ASAP.
Sadly, things won’t go according to plan. Marlena will remain trapped while Hattie runs amok in Salem. We’ll give you updates as other DOOL news comes in.
