The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will return to Genoa City after spending some time in California on The Bold and the Beautiful. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will serve as crossover characters on B&B. Their latest and last adventure will also enable the apparently not-late Sheila to once again visit Wisconsin.
Khloe’s adventure was tagged as the finale because Rikaart is leaving the cast. His last calls to the set take place this month. That means Y&R fans will last see his always great work sometime in August. Chloe should be Sheila’s sister because she is also one kooky bird.
Yes, loosing Delia (Sophie Pollono) was terrible. But that tragedy, which may have involved Adam Newman (then played by Michael Muhney) never gave Chloe the right to attack other people. Many people who have lost children don’t act like Chloe did, despite their intense grief. They’re also not mentally unbalanced like Chloe and Sheila, who also manipulated babies, children and adults.
One of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) greatest crimes occurred when he paid Dr. Harris (Ron Melendez) to facilitate Chloe’s early release from a mental health facility. Who knows, maybe she could have regained her sanity if she’d continued to receive proper medical treatment. But that didn’t happen and now she, Victor and the viewers will never know what could have been.
Okay, so Kevin was stunned to learn that Chloe never died. He fainted after she opened her casket, but recovered and was given an address. Chloe told him to meet her at Dr. Harris’ location in the south. Kevin received permission from Paul (Doug Davidson) to take a vacation in order to clear his mind and deal with the grief of his soul mate’s seeming loss.
He took a gun from the Genoa City Police Department before he left because he plans to take Chloe from Dr. Harris by force, if necessary. But, where will they run too?
Cal-uh-four-ni-a, otherwise known as California would be a delicious destination. Imagine the chipmunk and the woman he wanted to marry three times happening upon Sheila in the land of make-believe? The possibilities are intriguing, as is the draw that will take Miss Carter character back to middle America.
Brown’s long-awaited return to daytime is relished by tenured soap fans. Of course Sheila’s multiple returns from the dead turn off some viewers. But why not give this edition of Sheila a chance?
