The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that big changes are looming for Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan). It’s obvious that there’s still a deep connection between them, but Devon hasn’t been willing to reunite with his ex. However, his reasons for keeping Hilary in the friend zone could dwindle soon.
First, let’s talk about Mariah (Camryn Grimes). Devon enjoys spending time with her, but it’s easy to see that these two are doomed. For starters, they’re just not that into each other. Sometimes friendships are meant to be left as friendships, even if there’s a hint of something more going on. A slight spark doesn’t mean it’s true love.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will continue to wrestle with her feelings for Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). At some point, Mariah may decide it’s unfair to keep stringing Devon along. Whether her secret is exposed or she simply breaks things off, Devon and Mariah are headed for a split.
That should remove one obstacle for Devon. If he’s been afraid of breaking Mariah’s heart, he won’t have to worry about it for much longer. Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers suggest that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) could face a series of setbacks. She’s made some dangerous enemies, so payback may be coming up.
Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) definitely wouldn’t mind getting revenge. Knowing Hilary as well as we do, there’s a good chance she’ll provoke additional people soon. The Newmans don’t like having their dirt plastered all over Hilary’s show, so she’d better watch her back.
Once Hilary crosses the line, she could stir up more trouble than she bargained for. In spite of all Hilary’s scheming, Devon still sees her softer side. Hilary can be cruel, but she truly loves Devon. Now that they’ve had some time apart, Devon may make peace with Hilary’s rotten core. He’s kidding himself if he thinks he can resist Hilary forever.
Hilary could face severe backlash for passing along certain bombshells. If Hilary’s gossip empire is at stake or she’s publicly humiliated, you can bet that Devon will comfort her. There’s no way he can stand by and watch Hilary suffer alone.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Hilary and Devon’s reunion may not be too far away. Will “Hevon” fans get a Christmas miracle or should we hold out hope for Valentine’s Day?
